Try this settings, that was the problem in a different rom. They're found in location, 3dot menu->search and have to set off.

Here are my observations after two days of testing (clean installation after stock 6.0):

  1. It's smooth, man. Smooth like butter!
  2. Most things work.
Bugs I noticed to-date:
  1. Dialler -> Settings -> Calling accounts -> All calling accounts is empty
  2. Dialler -> Settings -> Calling accounts Shows a weird option "Smart-Divert - CFNRc Settings" which when clicked crashes the app (my guess is this entry should just not be there)
  3. Using Link2SD and trying to convert "Google Text-to-speech Engine" app from system to user returns an error:
Failure. mount: '/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system'->'/system': Device or resource busy
  4. Ringtones: All ringtones are of very short duration (4-7 sec), audible silence between loops
  5. Ringtones: Several ringtones are duplicated (Andromeda, Canis Major, Hydra, Perseus, Ursa Minor, Arcturus, Vega); Krypton and Plutonium are the same
  6. ANT HAL perhaps does not need to be there as there are many reports of high resources use.
  7. Terminal app is frozen from start - maybe it could be left out altogether? Whoever needs a terminal app will certainly find ways to get it
Hope this will be of help.

Additionally, new dialer is not dual-sim friendly at all. Stock MM dialer had an option of per-call selection of SIM used for calling, in-call SIM switching as well as remembering the SIM used for calling individual numbers. The new dialler has nothing of that. Pain in the neck when using the phone in dual-SM mode.

Then, signal bars are also for one SIM only. Consequently, it is not possible to use either SIMs for mobile interent - internet can only be used on one SIM card - one selected in Dual Sim Settings.

Messages app does support dual SIM, but also not in the most intuitive manner (long press the Send icon allows SIM selection). I use Contacts+ for messages. (Unfortunately, Contacts+ has no effect on in-call interface and SIM switching.)

No alternative dialer app for dual sim users?

@Wolfcity: Titan is a dual-SIM model, I would expect any titan ROM to correctly support dual SIM.

@jackcicci: Thanks. Not sure this solution will be sufficient. It does not seem to solve the per-SIM internet problem, for example. But thanks anyway.

Sorry I don't understand, what is per-sim internet problem?
Also with stock rom you have to choose which sim to use for internet, you cannot use both sim with internet at the same time.
Dual sim selector is good for automatic sim selection, you can save which sim to use with specific contacts or let the phone ask what sim every time you make a call.

Me too especially as I own one. I'm on custom ROMs since KK so I really don't know what kind of features the stock dialer app has but as dual SIM was officially supported on all my ROMs features like you listed weren't available at all which is sad but true.
As we're talking about the Aosp dialer as standard app in almost every custom ROM what's about the google dialer? Does it support more of this dual SIM features? As I wrote above I'm only using the Aosp dialer for a long time now.

the automatic sim selection does not depends on dialer, in the stock rom there is specific app "UserPreferredSimProvider.apk" and I think that is this app that manages the sim selection.
with dual sim selector you have almost the same features a part from that i can't change sim during call, but you can select the sim before and save the sim for specific contact. For example call home always with personal sim and others with work sim or ask everytime

Don't know how it was with kitkat because when i got the phone it updated to lollipop soon and never used custom KK rom

Thx for that information. Anyone who tried to implement that APK into a custom ROM?

Does it optimize everything???
Well I don't know what you mean by everything
But it is pretty good
No useless functions and since i have the single sim moddel I'm happy
Aospextended feels slow and choppy but IMHO this one does not (no mods no custom kernel aroma gapps)
