Does this ROM allow USB audio interface connection?

I updated to Nitrogen OS 7.1.1 and discovered my USB audio interface (Focusrite 2i2) won't connect properly anymore. It used to work in Lollipop. Will this ROM work better or is it an issue with all Nougat ROMs? Thank you!

Could be kernel. Try elementalX or franco.

Yes, I'm using the latest elementalx! Works great, I also used that kernel with Lollipop. Focusrite USB interface worked flawlessly with default kernel settings.
Since Nougat tho, lights flicker but interface won't stay on. Wondering if Nougat handles USB power differently and if there are any tweaks that would make the interface connect properly.

Setup refuses to comply when I try to install Desolation. Any thoughts. Clean flash. TIA.

Bypass it: at the 1st screen start in upper left corner of the wizard, then continue tapping each corner in a clockwise pattern. Then add your google account (if you want) in Settings -> accounts

I have the same issue and I'm not able to bypass the screen.

Im sure what to tell you, every build that's been posted I have been able to get in no problem, did you actually try to trouble shoot/fix the problem?

Tried tapping the corners? Tried different gapps? Tried no gapps? Your post gives zero information

I clean flashed and used Open Gapps nano package. I tried to bypass the screen by tapping corners many times but that didn't work.
After reflashing Rom + same gapps I faced the same issue. But this time I somehow was able to bypass by tapping the corners.

Will want to flash a kernel that supports it. Ive not had time to do kernel side work.

Future Development?

First of all, thanks for a great Nougat ROM, the smoothness, speed, and features are outstanding! I've noticed that development seems to have stopped and I wondered if there are plans for an Oreo build. Again, thanks for all you have done and hopefully we'll have an outstanding Desolation O in the future!

Is this site "dead"?

So, is Desolation dead as a flo rom? I haven't seen any activity on this site for several weeks and wondered if our beloved rom was now at its end. I have continued to use Desolation but am a bit concerned about the lack of android security updates in light of KRACK, etc.

Use the twrp file manager after you mount system, or use any root file manager if you are rooted. Amaze, total commander or what ever you prefer.
