Dude, just lol
So: nobody forces you to use Liquid Smooh, in fact, nobody forces you to change your stock ROM.
And please don't shout at me like that, I'm not responsible for anything you do to your phone....

Now the fix for your SD-Card problem: it works on Liquid Smooth, it is not a ROM problem, for me it works good. Create DCIM folder on your external sd-card and after that it should work...

Dosn't work i have a DCIM folder on my MicroHCSD

Calibrating my battery helpt

How the hell do i get my phone to store my pictures and videoes made with my phone on my microHCSD i have something like 4 partions or place for storage, emulated, sdcard0,sdcard1 and usbdisk0

I WANT MY PICTURES AND VIDES RECORDED WITH MY PHONE STORED ON SDCARD1 another strange thing is the date on my sdcard1 (MicroHCSD 32gb) is 01/01/1970 01.00.00 RW damm frustrating that i can't find any place where i can change where my pictures and videos i take, make with my phone is stored(because i can't figure how to change it i wanna smash my phone or just change to something like omega rom or another asop, just not liquidsmooth 2.9)

First of all you don't have to shout and ask something like a 2 years old children or like someone stole something for you. One the other hand this is an aftermarket firmware and it's provided WITHOUT WARANTY and nobody forces you to install it. Now let's focus on your "problem". I've almost forget: you don't need to tell that you have and microHCSD 32gb card with an awesome speed of read/write because i think nobody gives a s***t on that information ( it's ok to say that you have and memory card/external card ). For making things lot easier because i think you're noob ( don't understand me wrong ), i suggest you to install " OI File Manager " because have an simple and clean UI (User Interface), even it is not the best file manager ( personally i use this for simpe things ).After you've installed this reboot the phone, open it, i mean OI File Manager ( you'll need to press accept i think ), then you'll see some files like: Alarms, Android,Download, etc. On the top of the screen, in the left corner you''ll see "storage", press on it, then you'll see 3 folders: sdcard0 (which represents internal memory ), sdcard1 ( which represents you memory card microHCSD) and usbdisk ( for USB OTG). The next step is to select sdcard0 and to search in all folders and if you haven't found your photos/videos/memories , go again to storage, select sdcard1 and search again in all folders. If you haven't found that means you've done an format /sdcard or format /external or something like that from recovery, or from settings-> storage you erased them , or manually you erased them . Next time don't be angry and frustrated beacause it's NOT OUR FAULT. Sorry for my english. I whish you luck in finding !

Edit: Next time you can make an backup of your personal data...just in case

Not shure what your are talking about, i got frustrated because i can't get my phone, liquidsmooth 2.9 to store my pictures, vidoes i make with my phone on my microHCSD 32gb, which indicates that this memory card isn't the enternal memory since that is 16 gb.

I just don't have have an option to choose where i want to store my pictures and videos, need to have the pictures on my microhcsd beacuse then i can use an usb adapter to get the pictures from my phone onto my desktop pc which i have som problems using a usb cable with, it's either extreme slow or won't install driver, just some weird thing with my desktop pc so i used my laptop to sendt a video to youtube, facebook instead of my phone

@ gasolin:

And after creating the DCIM folder you shoud go to settings -> apps -> search for gallery and clear all data

Then you go to recovery wipe cache & dalvik cache then reboot and after that the cam app should recognize the new storing possiblity....

I wish you succes

Guys, I have a problem - since I've installed Liquid CWM recovery without "fix permissions" option, after flashing release 3 and 4 my CPU can't go into deepsleep, screen goes on by itself every hour, and that makes my (good) battery drain @ ca. 10 - 15% over the night. I know that "fix permissions" option helped me back then with deepsleep issue, but I don't want to revert to older CWM - any help people?

Checked with bbs but I couldn t locate any guilty wakelocks, changed gornor and rebooted but nothing. Any ideas?
Ps: rc3 was working perfectly...

Try to change the governor to "powersave" for a minute, then back to your governor - it helped me many times.

Hi, i've had this problem once with rc2 i think. Only solution was to download the ROM again and i think, i've flashed it without wiping data. On Tiger JB was also such a Problem. So try to download again and i suggest K^Kernel.:cyclops:

2.9 R5 or the next step

Hi Erik,

will there be a Release 5 of 2.9 based upon R6 of CM10.1 / maybe based on ION  or will you directly release a 4.3 Version of the LiquidSmooth Team ? I hope you don't interpret it as ETA - only a question to keep the tension alive :D

Cheers

Hello Rhonin! Since you asked, I'll provide a little update on my Dev status:

I was thinking about making a final version based on 4.2.2 after the RC6/7 of DevCon and after that entering into EOL state. I really can't continue on 4.2 because the Liquid Smooth team totally dropped the support and updates for it. Basically, there is nothing to update.

Also, I was preparing a surprise teaser for tonight, I managed to build LS 3.0 (base Android 4.3). But it didn't boot, for some reason it hangs on boot animation.
I have to admit that these days I was more focussed on building LS 3.0 and after a lot of "Red Bull" today I finally succeeded (there were tons of errors and loads of missing packages). Even if it doesn't boot yet, being able to fully compile it, it's a huge step. I have a few ideas of why it hangs and I'll try to figure it out these days. The LS 3.0 will most probably come after the CM-10.2 release of Team ADC.

Talk to you soon!
Erik

Liquid Smooth Release 5 Final [EOL]

    Hey everyone!

I decided to enter in the EOL state with Liquid Smooth v2.9. As I said before, there will be no future updates on 4.2.2 from the LS team.
But, I didn't want to leave the ROM just like that without any final release. So, I prepared a patch which will upgrade LS RC4 to RC5 final. This patch will allow you to remain up to date with the latest kernels because it includes the new sensor drivers adapted by CastagnaIT. Also, the patch includes my latest Phenom Kernel (v4.8 370MB UV).

Download link for the patch: http://d-h.st/NdU
Thanks to Rhonin86 and h0rn3t for their support in testing.

    Performance Control v2.1.1: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2401988

See you guys soon with Liquid Smooth v3.0 (Android 4.3).

    Thanks for the ride!
    Erik :)

    No more Liquid

    Hi guys!

I just want to let you know that there wont be any Liquid Smooth v3.0 (base Android 4.3) release (at least from me). A part of the reason for this decision is that I spent the last couple of weeks trying to figure out why the new builds don't boot up and I didn't manage to find anything. This is because some parts of the LS code are very disorganized and it's sometimes difficult to fix the problems.
If anyone wants to continue LS for Ariesve (and try to fix the bootloop) you can PM me for details.

I'll move to a similar ROM source base and try to get the best out of it. A new release will come in the next days...

Thanks again to everyone who supported me!
    Erik

    BUG Tracker:

    * Breathing Missed Calls seem to not work properly.

    BUG REPORTS:

This ROM is build from source with very little modifications to better suit our device. Although, I always test my builds before releasing them, they may have some bugs.
So, if you find any bugs which:
    1. Were not mentioned before (in the thread or in the changelog)
    2. Are present only on Liquid Smooth and therefore they are not CM 10.1 base bugs.
If the bug you found meets these criteria then please post it here.
Bug reports should be made alongside with logs.

If you consider that your problem is ROM related than please post a logcat immediately after the bug occurs:

    Terminal Emulator:
    Code:
    su
    logcat -v time -d > /sdcard/logcat.txt
    ADB:
    Code:
    adb logcat -v time -d > logcat.txt

If you consider that your bug is Kernel related, please post the dmesg log.

    Terminal Emulator
    Code:
    su
    dmesg > /sdcard/dmesg.txt
    ADB:
    Code:
    adb shell dmesg > /sdcard/dmesg.txt

If your system crashed, had random reboot or shutdown, please post the last_ksmg log:

    Terminal emulator:
    Code:
    su
    cat /proc/last_kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg.txt
    ADB:
    Code:
    adb shell cat /proc/last_kmsg > kmsg.txt

    A little OFF-Topic:
Today when I was going back home, it started to rain terribly. While I was getting out of the car and running inside my house, my phone slipped out of my pocket and fall on the ground with the display up. I didn't notice only when I was searching for my keys so my phone took a massive cold shower for 30 seconds. I got back home, took out the battery (it was wet even under it), tried to dry it and then I powered it on. It didn't get past the bootsplash, it was stuck in a bootloop. As soon as the bootloader loaded the kernel it rebooted... Also, it was unable to boot into recovery mode/download.
So, I disassembled it (Adam Outler style) and dried the motherboard with the the hair dryer. After that, I reconnected everything and my phone booted up successfully. I was happily watching the Liquid Smooth boot animation...
Conclusion: Even if Samsung forgot our phone, they still made it pretty much "indestructible".
Of course, I couldn't resist to not take a picture of the motherboard so here is a close-up for you guys (sorry for the poor quality):
