like all others bluetooth devices. enable bluetooth from settings, press the buttons home and back on the remote to enter pairing mode, refresh refresh. Was successfully able to install the new rom. But after loading i don't see screen pairing with remote. I see a masking screen instead that shows the screen tip, which does not go away. How can I pair the remote and get started. Please help.
Yes, I agree with that part. But right now I am struck at the initial screen where it shows a welcome screen in foreground and I need to click on OK to close that window. Do I need a usb mouse to close that.like all others bluetooth devices. enable bluetooth from settings, press the buttons home and back on the remote to enter pairing mode, refresh refresh.
when you see the remote in the bluetooth list, click on it to pair.
The pairing is one time operation.
But directional keys are not sufficient to control a full android firmware.
If you use only directional keys apps, you can stay also on Android TV![]()
sure. in first config you need an hardware mouse.Yes, I agree with that part. But right now I am struck at the initial screen where it shows a welcome screen in foreground and I need to click on OK to close that window. Do I need a usb mouse to close that.
Is simple, install full Android 6 as explained in the first post. Can you explain how to Unlock fixed Volume ?
Grazie !
I had to manually direct my computer to the nexus driver location through the manage feature on windows. This is going to seem pretty foolish... I cannot get my Windows computer to read my NP, therefore, no root, no custom ROM. I've upgraded to Marshmallow already.
Q1. Is there a very comprehensive set of instructions complete with files and links I can follow? None of the drivers I've used (even NP Rootkit) will allow my system to see my Nexus Player.
Q2. All I have to do is press the Bluetooth button on the bottom of the NP, then hold it when I plug in to get to Fastboot mode, right? From this menu I should be able to execute ADB and Fastboot commands with nothing else?
I don't, but I'm not in Android at that point; does that setting make a difference when you're already in the boot menu?I had to manually direct my computer to the nexus driver location through the manage feature on windows.
You do have USB debugging turned on within the device correct?
It couldn't hurt.I don't, but I'm not in Android at that point; does that setting make a difference when you're already in the boot menu?
I'm still running Lollirock, but I'd like to upgrade to this ROM. Will I be okay flashing this in TWRP, or do I need to use fastboot? I don't have a laptop, so adb/fastboot is a pain. Thanks for the continued support.Hi friends,
Android 6.0.1 is in first post.
Tested many things, Netflix, bluetooth, audio in, Kodi, apps with DRM, Chromecast. seems all ok, let me know
To root use in TWRP the last Supersu beta 2.61+ from http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/wip-android-6-0-marshmellow-t3219344
In Shield TV and others devices i use FlashFire. But maybe it not work on x86 devices for now.I'm still running Lollirock, but I'd like to upgrade to this ROM.
