Its normal.I've got a quick question. If I'm listening to music while browsing on Chrome with the latest GPE rom is it normal for the top half of my phone to get hot? I know that the top half is where the CPU is, but I don't feel like browsing the internet and listening to music should be CPU intensive. Anyone got some app or anything that could help me?
I have to hot reboot everytime? But does work, Thanks!Did you hot reboot?
Turn off wifi before you reboot and won't have to hotbootI have to hot reboot everytime? But does work, Thanks!
Thinking about installing GPE safestrap. Does anyone have or know of any video of this ROM? I'd like to see it in action.
Is there a 4.4.4 version of the GPE for SS before all the Lollipop addons. I'm not a fan of material design and would like my S4 to look and feel like my N7 (2013)
No. Use Accupedo instead.I got to where I wanted to be. I hate the white background that's a part of material design and the latest versions of the google search app. So I used titanium, uninstalled it and installed the last version 3 app. Problem fixed. So new question. The only stock Samsung app I use is S Health. Is there any way to get that working on this ROM. I'll need ANT+ working too.
Nah. That won't work. I use it for more than just a pedometer. I use it for running, and biking with HRM. I've tried Sports tracker but didn't care for it.No. Use Accupedo instead.
just flash the nj4 modem after you go back to Nc1 or NI1 if its better for you... works for meIt sucks nj4 can't be used. The signal difference is ridiculous, so much better than NC1.
We don't have a working base for 5.0.1. The "Release" you refer to may (likely) never happen.@Joe-Tech any News When are you Coming Back Can't Wait for the New GPE 5.0.1 Release, Eagerly Waiting for that Day to Come :fingers-crossed:
But I Think Joe-Tech Was able to Boot 5.0.1 Rom Just everything was Force Closing, Please Refer Post #2011, Can You Please Look into this Project If you could Help by any means, Here's the File - https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3XXKgU5prRdTVc5aW5BLXYzcU0/edit Can be Flashed From Stock OC3 Using FlashFire. We don't have a working base for 5.0.1. I have spent countless hours trying to get an AOSP ROM to boot on the stock kernel. It just hangs on boot, which is not debuggable, as we dont get to a point where we can view logs.
Using really low level debugging, all I can see is that it has something to do with Samsung's crappy ART implementation. (No, the recent XPosed on TW will not help with anything here).
No offense to Joe here, but he left that file, and said it booted. I tried to replicate, and many others did, but no one could get it to get past the boot logo. ART just spazzes out and prevents anything else from happening.
