5.1.11 gave me all kinds of wifi issues with this rom.

Yeah I tried with both the new kernel and the old kernel.

I can say for me that wifi would randomly get "pinched". Accessing links, changing browser pages, using play store etc. would stop the signal for about 3-8 seconds. It's very frustrating because you get a lot of blank screens stating "reload" or "no signal"

Let me know how it goes for you. I also had to format data but it was because of the TWRP encryption fiasco.

New Smurf kernel fixes everything rite up on a 5.1.11 based install, at least relating to wifi... :good:

Okay si i've clean reinstalled with twrp 3.2.3.0 and phone still hang up everytime i want to call someone. But when i tried with nano gapps, i could call but 4g was broken... Very weird

Edit: and yeah SMS was caused by the restaration

Comes with gapps and the google account. Just go into accounts and select your google account and untick stuff from there. That's what I do

Apparently a fix in the works in the main Havoc sources. Not sure when these will be merged in.

Thx ...but I'm more inclined to think it might be device related as skulshady posted a SS from his device and icons were centered. but apparently its not something I did, and is source related nonetheless (the feature has been center justified since its inception in LP, MM so o believe the fix will be rather easy (for the Havoc Devs anyway)

Yeah that is the fix. He was showing that it has been fixed very recently in the sources.

I think they work off a private git and then they merge into the main when a bunch of bugs are squished.

I have 3 problems:
1. Ambient Display keeps flashing on/off
2. After I unlock my phone, I cant touch the screen, I have to lock and unlock again to use the screen.
3. WiFi keeps disconnecting

LTE is also broken here. I tested with another phone and LTE was working, leading me to believe maybe the recent GApps are broken.

Edit:...nope. It wasn't GApps. For some reason the ROM defaulted to GSM/WCDMA and that's why LTE wasn't working. This is located at Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network > Advanced > Preferred Network Type. You need to choose the first option.

That seems to happen after a clean install for me as well. Been dirty flashing the last couple updates though and I haven't had to change it afterwards.

You need to choose the first option which has basically everything. Also make sure you are running with the right Access Point Name (APN) for your service provider.

it's not a problem anymore for me since i reflashed the rom when i had this issue lol, right now, i just can't make call :/

Unable to boot custom ROMs

I've unlocked bootloader , twrp installed by boot twrp.img then flashing twrp installer.
When I follow the steps to install this ROM or any other custom ROM like liquid remix ,when I press reboot to system ,the device reboots to bootloader. I've tried several times , by flashing just the ROM , gapps plus ROM without root , exactly as mentioned on the forum .. nothing seems to work.. why is that ?
I can only install the stock ROMs , oxygen and hydrogen..

Because you're doing it the old fashioned way. Our devices are different, they are Treble-compatible, more on that here (it's how I got to understand how newer phones now work). You need to flash this way from now on if you want things to work.
