can somebody provide some solution. After using this ROM, my phone memory card got damaged and now it is not getting detected in mobile as well as laptop.
i dont think there any connection with the ROM to get your card damaged. it could be either the quality of the card or something u have done/ or got corrupted. if it didnt get detected by pc can u try it again on another pc? once i got same issue with my SD card due to some thing i have done trying in my phone. it got corrupted and didnt even detected my office pc( i was at office that time) but i got it formatted im my home pc. and using it until today. however i lot all on the card. but i had a recent back up at home. so minimum damage. u too need to format the card. google for methods to format

Some spots form Beta1:

- the three dots menu option is gone...
- when inside Contant app: trying to scroll down the contacts list doesn't work for the first time we try - I must do it again, second time and then it scrolls down.

EDIT:
There is no LED notification options anymore... Could u add them, so we can set the time of LED blinks and so on? :)

EDIT2: Sometimes when we get into "Last apps" menu and try to swipe some apps out, the menu closes instantly.. and then we must click two times the Home button to make it appear again.

Just want to report that my Ray had a soft reboot (just to Carbon logo) after disconnecting it from charger :) Besides that it works fine, I'm testing Xposed Framework with 2 modules (big caller screen and sms sent date).

Sorry for triple post, but I have something more to report :)

- lag in browser (especially when logging to facebook, that little browser window)
- wifi sometimes shutdown (it is on, but connection is lost and it doesn't renew automatically)

I have installed this Rom on my Ray, and I think its good enough for my new daily. :D

I am running a few things off the basic install, which works for me. I have a 64GB Class 10 SD card, which I have partitioned into an
*8GB Fat32 as my default SD card,
*2 GB Ext4 Partition to replace my default internal Data partition (I don't know how even with the partition changes you guys can fit all your apps... I previously used Link2SD, but found it a little buggy) see attached. Note that its in GB instead of MB
*The rest (about 50GB partitioned as Ext4 which I use for all my media (eg I have my whole photo collection, an MP3 library and a bunch of videos to watch when I travel to work)
*About 320MB as Linux Swap

* The dark kernel which allows me to go to a 1.8GHz OC
* Uninstalled some of the system apps (eg I use K9 to read my gmail so it went, I use Lightening launcher, so the stock launcher also went etc etc)
* Turned off zRam and enabled my 320MB linux swap
* OC'd to 1.8 with Interactive govn' I started with SmartassH3 but am trying this one as I think it sits on higher cpu
* Changed IO to NOOP schd
* Installed the CronMod INT2EXT4. I did it "manually" and not using the flashable zip (I wont be using ART)

Problems:
The WiFi works, but has been known to stop working, and then restart, just before I reboot to try to get it back
I think its probably my doing with the order I installed everything (I went straight to the other kernel before a single boot with the supplied kernel, maybe...) However, on about 4 out of every 5 boots, I have no phone signal and have to reboot.
Something that is always present, and I also found it on another 4.4.2 rom, is that when I unlock the phone, it plays the unlock sound as if it is stuttering/looping. Or, maybe that is the sound. I haven't found how to change the sound as yet to check it.

Apollo is working great and the DSP with extra features is working great, MX Video player is working (From the market and was unusable on a previous 4.4 rom) However, Google Currents has an annoying lag when I flip to the next page of a story (swipe left). It works fine under JellyBean roms I have used.

OK, I found what was causing me to not get a signal. It was a looooong investigation, but it turned out, all I needed to do was place a 2 second wait (ie sleep 2) at the top of my CronMod INT2EXT4 script, and I have since got a signal every time. :victory: and have 2GB instead of 320MB to install user apps.

I also found another small issue with the ROM. If I have Apollo playing in the background and start typing (eg a new SMS), the music stutters on every key press.

Other than that, I am lovin this rom (especially OC'd to 1.8 :)) It is smooth, fast, has all the features I need and although I haven't used it for that long, I have yet to have a random reboot (even with the 1,8OC!).

In case anyone is wondering, the USB On the Go works out of the box (ie no extra app required). I just connected a 1TB usb drive (self powered of course) and managed to browse through the drive and copy a 170MB file across from the 1TB drive in about 2 minutes. The file manager was flipping between 1.5MB/s and 2.0MB/s transfer speed.

Yesterday I had a weird reboot on my Ray. I just wanted to add some notes to my Any.DO, closed app, and then I pressed the "recents" button to swipe away some apps and I pressed power button to dim the screen. Then the phone rebooted (softly, only to Carbon logo) and I get many errors with "Sorry, process com.android.media has stoped"...

I'm still loving this ROM, however I think I may of found another small avoidable bug.

If I go to Settings/Carbon Fibers/Status Bar and then swipe to left to the clock tab, and then click Color. it all works fine in portrait. However, if I turn the phone sideways, and do the same in Landscape, I get "Unfortunately, Carbon Fibers has stopped"

My Wifi just dropped out again. but it was working fine for a few hours (4+ receiving data over ftp), and a reboot brought it back as I was too impatient to wait to see if it would come back on its own. Stopping and restarting Wifi did not help.

I hope some of the above helps the Devs.

I went back up to a 5 second wait, as 2 seconds was not as reliable. I don't notice the difference in boot times, as its a long wait either way. Other than that, the CronMod is working fine as far as I can tell. I previously was using Link2SD, but found it a little unreliable, in that apps would appear to move back to internal. I am guessing after an update? I have something like 70 user apps installed from the market, installed on what Android believes is "internal" when in reality it is an Ext4 partition on my 64GB SD card. What are other people doing to enable the ability to have lots of apps installed? My currently installed apps take almost 1GB of space (well beyond the rays internal space) and I still have nearly 1 GB further available.

I use Mounts2SD to move dalvik cache and apps to sd-ext. It works perfectly fine.

I see ROM ships goo manager. I was wondering if the dev releases new version, will it goo manager notify me? I guess, yes?

I can confirm that issue with music player - when we listen to music and click something (with clicking sounds on) then we hear terrible sound for a second...

EDIT: Browser lags terribly. There's no matter which browser it is (stock AOSP or HoloWeb).
