I have noticed in this and also in other 4.4 ROMs (all based from Cyanogen Mod base), that the "stagefright" command is missing from the shell? is this part of KitKat or is it specific to Cyanogen Mod ROMs?
I have yet to upgrade. On the previous rom, editing the /system/build.prop to have ro.config.low_ram=true turned off the transparency of the notification bar. I also think that there was what appeared to be a menu item in settings, somewhere. And I see that the notification bar is no more transparent on Home screen, like it was before (and it was changing colour to app background sometimes).

not happening to me .Something I notcied when I turn on the recents panel (with longpressing the home button) - see the attachment below. The names of apps are blurred (I didn't made this by my own!). It happens sometimes, and it's weird
And another thing: I tried to have mobile data on all the day and... my battery went down from 100 to 35%. Do it must to drain the battery so much? (I guess Google Services are draining most).

It really happens, but not always. Sometimes when I go into recents menu all names of apps are blurred (and the blurr effect disappears when I try to swipe app out).
What exactly do you mean? Does the low_ram option should be enabled to make the rom run smoothly? Could we get the option to enable/disable it in settings? And is it really safe to switch this setting?I have yet to upgrade. I just checked mine and I had it off (ie NOT low_ram), but I set it to true. I find if you switch to expanded desktop, it becomes less prevalent as they disapear when not required.
it dont really affect the phone or the performance. if u want to enable the transparent status bar then use some file expolore with root access and navigate to system/build.prop and edit the line ro.config.low_ram=true to ro.config.low_ram=falseIt really happens, but not always. Making some things simple for you guys in making update.. Wait for it..it dont really affect the phone. if u want to enable the transparent status bar then use some file expolore with root access and navigate to system/build.prop and edit the line ro.config.low_ram=true to ro.config.low_ram=false
Ok, maybe I'll try. But what's te purpose of this setting? What does it exactly do? I don't want to mess something up if it's important... Will I get less ram or sth?it dont really affect the phone. if u want to enable the transparent status bar then use some file expolore with root access and navigate to system/build.prop and edit the line ro.config.low_ram=true to ro.config.low_ram=false
Have patience bro.. Next nightly probably will answer all your doubts..Ok, maybe I'll try. But what's te purpose of this setting? What does it exactly do? I don't want to mess something up if it's important... Will I get less ram or sth?
