Is this ROM ready for a daily use? I am on a PA and i want to try something lighter and more minimalistic. All work? No bug?
check out the previous version of supernexus rom by Faryaab based on 4.2.2....google it........Totally Bug-free and fully working.......Liquid smooth jelly bean :)

You need to start again and ffollow the instructions in the OP,i.e flash the ROM then the Gapps then reboot.
From your post it seems like you flashed the ROM,rebooted and then the Gapps,is that correct ?
Flashed Rom, then gapps finally reboot. Set up the device and installed apps like fb, linked in etc. Tried and was stuck at galaxy note screen

Now let's try to understand what you did: You did a clean wipe, flashed the ROM, flashed the correct gapps, and rebooted. It rebooted normally, and you then set it up. Ordinarily, if you had previously accepted the default to back up your system on Google servers, without doing anything, many of your apps would start to automatically re-install. This could take a while depending on your internet connection. But let's assume you did not wait for the automatic re-installation. So, you went to Play Store and started to install your favourite apps - FB, LinkedIn, etc. Did you then restart the device after installing those apps, and the device got stuck?

Thanks for understanding. I don't backup my device with Google. Till rebooted normally and set it up is correct. Afterwards I installed my backup pro, restored call log and sms then installed backed up apps (only apk and no data). Post completion I needed to restart the device that is where it froze on note logo.

I think your restoring apps from a custom backup was the problem. (I dumped Titanium Backup Pro long ago.) The Backup Pro would seek to restore to exactly the same partitions as they were originally, which may not be the same as your new partitions. I have come to rely on the automatic re-installation of apps which always happens after I flash a new ROM. It never needs a reboot. What Google does, if you allow it during your setup, is to keep a record of all apps you installed from Play Store - not the apps themselves. When you flash a new ROM from clean wipe, the latest versions of all those apps are pulled from Play Store and re-installed on your device. Give it a try.

Good work

Coming from SuperNexus 2.x, this 3.0 shows all the effort in keeping the pace with the underlying Android development. Although fully functional (I use it in my everyday work), some glitches are clearly visible:

  • I'm getting a fairly high CPU usage, especially linked to data exchange (3G and, less evident, WiFi): I don't think it's a specific app issue, since the background data syncing itself triggers that. I'll try to remove my SD card to ensure there's no issue(s) with the multimedia scanner -- another well-known battery-and-cpu-sucker.
  • In general, the device is fairly hot during normal use, certainly more than previous ROM versions (given the same app set installed by me), and takes longer to fully charge.
@OP, please let me know if there's some more specific information (or diag tool output) you may need in order to point out the above.

Keep up the great work! Plain "Nexus" experience is the only one that makes sense to me. :)

Restoring is not the issue. This is what i did this time:

1. Cleaned previous installation. Wipe data, dalvik cache, cache etc
2. Installed ROM and GApps
3. Restarted the device and i got the welcome screen
4. Went to the launcher and set everything up (by everything up means setting up google account and official email)
5. Restarted the device and stuck at galaxy note logo :(
6. Cleared dalvik cache and cache but no luck

Any suggestions please

Screen glitches and gallery issues

Have noticed the following:

1. Parts of the screen turns blank/black in browser and email app, specially when scrolling. I believe this is a known issue with browser. But happens in the Email app too

2. Gallery doesn't display thumbnails

Otherwise a stable ROM with good performance.

ROM is great but the constant signal drops makes it unattractive for the Note. It basically turns the Note into a WiFi device. Note is my primary device, can't live with the drops otherwise, commendable job.
I have also been experiencing sudden signal drops. Then I reboot and the signal comes back in full. It is not a case of a weak signal (as a contributor suggested), but complete signal loss.

Faryaab I've just helped you out with this. I fixed most graphical glitches and added Sunbeam lwp, flash player and chrome to replace stock aosp browser as aosp browser causes the glitches. I've tested it and running it now and everything's fine. I added DSP manager but you can replace it. No bugs just some WiFi issues nothing major. Here's the link. We could call it build 2 if you want. I help because I want to. Try it link is attached.

Yeah me too, this morning as I was out for some Ingress action, signal went completely....
A reboot sorted it,but not before I'd tried every possible available service provider...
