Solved also Chromecast functionality, it rely on the new booltloader for this reason i had problems in last tests.
All is under control. A couple of days of tests and i will share the new 5.1 firmware.
i used this https://android.googlesource.com/kernel/x86_64/+/android-x86_64-fugu-3.10-lollipop-mr1 + exfat drivers as base:good:
How did you handle the kernel? Did you rebase defconoi's unleashed with android-x86_64-fugu-3.10-lollipop-mr1, or use clean android-x86_64-fugu-3.10-lollipop-mr1 ?
I've found that defconoi did some great work with updating the wifi drivers and the scheduler, which are worth keeping. I haven't had a chance to do any more than just look at src so I haven't tested anything, though the changes rebased with minimal conflict. let me know if you want my rebase src. I could give you a bzImage if you'd like too.

Android 5.1 changelogis there a change log. ?
would love to give this a spin
Is there an GOOD solution for OTGAndroid 5.1 changelog
new updated kernel source
new binay
new google services and apps
some midifications and additional modules of LolliRock 1.5
The visual changes are not many, but under the hood much is changed.
Now you can also mute audio like pre 5 android versions that is very useful.
Works great for me, I handflashed everything except the user data.img from the factory image, then flashed the new lollirock, and root, but didn't wipe with fastboot -w and everything is working great! Before i will publish on first page, i need your approval.

I will work on better bluetooth mic support. Generic bluetooth mic, not the one of little stock remote. Usually i use DroidMote when i want write something with my voice or the usb webcam if i want make voice search in google now.@zulu99
5.1 release works amazing. Adition of working Mute button is very welcome. My keyboard thanks you very much.
On the side note. Polite request. Please consider adding full bluetooth a2dp and mic support.
I know you don't have much use for it, according to your previous posts, but maybe you don't have kids around you when you want to say Ok Google, and do a search, while they are physically closer to the usb mic then yourself.... It is also immensely more convenient to listen to the music or watch something privately ,or when family is sleeping (where google dropped the ball compared to roku, with its stereo plug on the remote, and nvidia seems to be fixing on their box). I saw you mentioned that the stock remote mic is hard wired to use gimped protocol from original firmware, and I would not want you to waste time on that, but when I have spare bluetooth headsets that I can just put in my ear, it is a damn shame not to be able to use it.
It also allows using using other bluetooth peripherals, in case I want the sound to be louder, cleaner than my crappy TV speakers and not necessarily be physically tethered to my TV (wife hates cables and I really try to keep it to a minimum). And let us not forget some of us wanting private conversations on hangouts/skype/etc.
Other than full bluetooth support, I really have no idea what else could be missing from this amazing work, that you have done for us.
Thanks

Note 4 ?
Usualy i erase all my data when i update, because are only apps that i can reinstall easly. How can my game data survive this upgrade. With my phones I always use titanium backup and custom recovery. Should I just save most data to USB or Google Drive or Dropbox... Etcetera. Or is there a simple command shortcut I just never learned? I'm enjoying 1.5 so much. Best thing to happen to an android device for me. My TV is my new favorite thing. I'm even gonna buy aLogitech C525. I just want to upgrade appropriately.
no, if you have problems, a factory reset solve. Without the command fastboot -w that purge old data i'm not sure about the process, some old data can create problems, solvable with a fresh install or factory reset or with the command fastboot -w in the installation process as i wrote in the readme.Does it need to optimize on every reboot?
