Idan73 thank you for all your suggestions.
In this thread i want only solutions and not controversy.
With my suggestions, I do not want to show what I know, but just help, if possible.
Every one can suggest better than me. I'm just a small developer like many others.
Sorry if i misunderstand your words.

Thanks a lot for version 2.0. It runs smooth without any issue. Is it possible to uploade the LeanbackLauncher.apk with necessary files in case if any one want to use the LeanbackLauncher. Acually it is not possible to run yuuptv apk from google play any more. I really appreciate your help zulu99.
YuppTV for Android Set-Top Box seem to work https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yupptv.stbtv

This is the app you are talking about or is another ?

Leanback Launcher was posted by the friend roebling in previous post, but as you know I love Google Now Launcher. Fast, customizable and more usable.

Not sure which words.

No man, honestly I was just kidding in my post that I think you are refering to. I even said so.
Everyone's input is valid, and to be honest I most like the threads that allow going off topic as well. If one explanation helps others get the problem solved over another, the better it is for the whole thread, as well as community.
I am not known for being being the best (far from it) at putting words to a paper in the easiest and most explanatory manner.
I either bore people to death with elaborating, and some mistake it for condescending, or I write the way I think, which doesn't always produce best results. English being second language does not help, and by this I am referring to mine, being immigrant to Canada and all that.

If you are referring my last before this (just above your post), it is only in direct response and friendly discourse with @roebling, trying to explain myself and the train of thoughts regarding the post from last week. He asserted I was wrong about absolute need for lean back launcher in that case, and I was. Just felt explanation was in order. No malice intended there or competition. God forbid.
Followed by a question regarding Netflix 1.04 that I couldn't test at the time as I was working. Now at home I got my answer.
P. S. See even this one. I keep finding things that might be misunderstood, so I keep editing. ? This must be the 5th-6th so far.

Note 4 ?

Since no one else is having the video streaming issues i'm having here is a logcat. Your input will be appreciated.
Have you tested the same video with MX Player or Kodi ?
Honestly i not have particular video issues, can be a specific problem of vlc with this specific video ?

While streaming with Kodi I do have from time to time pixelated images...they last for 1 second, and then video is ok again. Not sure if that considers as a big video glitch - have had this issue ever since I got my NP and installed LolliRock (didn't use stock at all).

Happens no matter what video player I use. MX does same thing. Stock video player plays streams very jerky for me. Vlc and MX play smooth but eventually exit for whatever reason.

Strangely, webm encoded videos have no issues. But I've now tried mkv and mp4 and they will always exit eventually.

Can you share a link with the video you are testing ?
You use wifi or ethernet ?
I'm interested to have your same conditions.

Downloaded in the internal storage.

With MX Player no problems from the start to the end

With Kodi I saw very long scenes, no interruption, but some time i can see a pixelation from half second. Nothing special, i think the video was not encoded very well.

In VLC the video not work, but i not played with settings or other configurations.

In VLC beta (what is the differences ? ) the video work, but i not tested well, because this version of VLC interfere with mouse movements. When you move the mouse you forward rewind.

VLC have problems for sure. But are problems of the app.

In MX Player, as default i use this codec pack http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=9765

Is possible that you have installed something that cause your problem ?

Well of note I also just stream it. I don't actually put them on internal storage. But I've been doing it the same way ever since getting the Nexus Player and never had issues like this before. That's several months ago. Just seems to be as of the last update.

VLC I can play this video without issues but after i'd 20 minutes it will just suddenly close. MX Player exact same thing. VLC Beta hasn't been updated since December. So I don't use that. I might just try a full wipe and reinstall everything and see if that fixes it.

My suggestion. Restart your Nexus Player.
Not open vlc, or better uninstall vlc for your tests.
After restart, try only with MX Player and after with Kodi.

I think vlc create problems to the system.

Just a suggestion.

Only reason I installed VLC was to try it as with just MX installed I was getting the issue upon the update. Tried uninstalling MX as well and reinstalling no fix before installing VLC.
