Hello, after reading your post I installed for the first time Lolllirock and guess what? 2.1 has native otg mount. Yes no more need of Stickymount. It's builtin. Mine I did not have to format in 6.0 stock at all. All I did was to erase the mounted 500gb SSD MX100 and after that it formatted it right there and was available as a usb storage. THis is great.....yeah I would like to move 6.0 but one of my critical app is not yet updated to support 6.0 so it's crashing. But now I can use Lollirock without issue. I still rooted and used foldermount for that app since it does record livestream.I installed Lollirock, but was having inconsistent issues with using stickmount pro and foldermount. It was not working every time. I read about Android M Preview 3, so I flashed the new Preview 3 yesterday on some spare time. There was an option to format a drive as a removable storage android could read better. So I reformatted a 500gb HD I had laying around. After playing with Android M for a few hours, I decided I couldn't live with the leanback launcher the Nexus Player Preview 3 was using. So I switched back to Lollirock 2.1. I hooked the external hard drive to my computer to reformat it for Lollirock use. I guess I assumed it wouldn't work? Anyway, the drive opened up and I noticed a folder directory "lost.dir"
Lightbulb.
I ejected the usb HD, and plugged it into the usb hub on the nexus. Opened up ES file explorer (without stickmount installed at all) and what do you know..... a mounted external drive with all my content on it. This means no more stick mount and any errors associated with it. So this is a fix for having a pnp removeable storage on Lollirock 2.1. I imagine a drive formatted like this would work with any 5.1 lollipop +otg?
Lots of work, and the only reason I found this was pure accident. I hope it helps someone until @zulu99 has a 6.0 version available.
any chance you can list the processes, im in the same issue as well just want to pair my remote but it wont let me, i just want to install droidmoteI just finished getting this rom set up. I had to use adb keycode commands to pair my remote, then had to use a keyboard to install droidmote. Really good rom, much better than cm12.1 Only annoying thing is my microphone does not work from the nexus player remote. Any plans to include it?
Mine doesn'tMight be a dumb question, but should the brightness control work? I'm thinking no but I figured I would ask.
i've done the above but i get 2 issues.HOW TO INSTALL XPOSED FRAMEWORK
Download and install with TWRP recovery the file xposed-v65-sdk22-x86-by-romracer-20150702.zip from this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979
After, download and install like a normal apk the file XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk from this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
From the download section of xposed framework app you can download modules.
A must have on this firmware is the GravityBox for Lollipop. Install it, enable the module in xposed app and restart. Enter in GravityBox module and click on Display tweaks -> expanded desktop mode -> immersive Go in Power Tweaks and enable screenshot in power menu and screen record in power menu if you prefer.
the result is that you can have immersive mode when you want, but with others modules you can do also many others useful things, like setting per apps the default dpi so you can set also 320 dpi for your preferred leanback-only app. module name App-Settings
How to enter easily in the power menu ? I long press on power button of DroidMote Client.
I made this video for Shield Console sorry, but on the Nexus Player is the same thing.
same thing happened to me. xposed would work until i rooted using the method in the OP. I gave up and tried the 6.0 marshmellow ROM instead. this one still had working xposed after using the root method in the OP of that ROM. Maybe try using the root method from that post (.zip flashed in TWRP) instead using fastboot to root? or just switch to the 6.0 ROMI am having issues installing Xposed. My NP is unlocked, rooted, and has the latest TWRP. I downloaded and flashed xposed-v75-sdk22-x86.zip and installed XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk but am encountering an error I have yet to see despite being quite experienced in the Nexus lineup and with the command line. In the Xposed app, it states that the Xposed framework version 75 is installed, but not active and to check the logs for details. The log is empty. Saw Post #710 that said an older version of the unofficial version worked with the NP but that before rovo89 released the official 5.1 version.
Was wondering if it was in fact possible to install the released version of Xposed for LP on Lollirock 2.1.
Did you find an answer for this?Which version of Xposed works with the latest Lollirock release? I saw the old post, but that one doesn't work with the newer version. Is there any version of Xposed that's compatible with the latest lollirock?
