Does anyone have a working WatchON.apk with this? I've gotten Smart Remote to work, but every WatchON.apk does not.

I'm pretty sure that WatchOn only works with TW roms.

Its working for many on CM10.2, CM10.1 and other AOSP ROMs. However I've gotten only Smart Remote to work on Carbon.

On 1.8 (dirty flash over 7/27) I also do not have a working camera. Any fix for this yet?
Also my IR blaster does not work. Is that just me or is that unsupported?

Wasn't a dirty flash, but I wiped, formatted, and factory reset EVERYTHING. Twice before and twice after. But I'm having the same issues here. Snapchat works fine for photos until it gets to my camera app itself and it says "unfortunately, gallery has stopped working" and force closes.
I tried the 4.2camera_t04 flash and still had the issues.
Attempted fix permissions in TWRP and got nada.
Umnount/mount SD. Nope.
Clear defaults, clear cache, clear data, no luck yet.
I'm still trying for now but if it doesn't get cleared up I gotta switch back to AOKP because I need my camera for work.

Can you please post a link to/say which of ktoonsez kernels you're using? There's several for the sprint s4 and they don't all behave the same.

Edit: I'm currently using a different kernel that when running the latest rom I had camera issues so I reverted to 7/25...

It seems like 7/24 and 7/25 were my last stables too. I have ktoonsez 8-4 release for AOSP JB 4.2 and am back to perfection over here.

Do the proper flash (clear cache and davlik, factory reset, flash, fix permissions) of the last stable build you had. It seems that the new one doesn't work on any of the kernels I run
I think our only hope is to backtrack until we figure out a solid solution. As far as IR I have that back now too.

It's a flashable version that works with AOSP ROMs as long as that ROM has ir support.

About 12 hours now on 8-15 with 8-13 gapps, stock CM kernel, this is impressive! Thing sleeps like a baby and is fasssssttt! ;D Mucho garcia homies!
