Good to hear. I don't personally use theme checker so I can't chime in on that, but I'm yet to have a reboot. Check to see if you have a bad download. Download the app in the playstore "md5 checker" and load your zip in there. Here's my md5 (not official one) and see if they match.

I simply did the basic wipe in twrp, installed the ROM, and then installed the paranoid android 0 day minimal gapps. Good luck :)

Theme manager was force closing for me as well... I had to go back to an old version of gummy for now. It seems as the newest gummys are doing it as well... weird

That's strange. One thing I may have done different is use a bloat remover and remove Google plus. Try using no bloat free and freeze and or remove theme changet

Play Music

Im still on the very first Carbon KK build on this phone. the only thing i have noticed is in google play music. the audio would cut out. the reason i say it may be rom related is because the songs were on the phone (not streaming) it did it through speaker and through head phone jack.

its not a deal breaker for me. the songs are very much still able to be listened to. but i was curious if anyone else has experienced.

id try a new build but im waiting for the change log to get a bit more changed up before clean flashing another build.

been on that first build 24/7 since it released im getting about a day worth of battery. it was terrible at first more so than the other kk roms had been i installed xposed and greenify donate and that extended it out to a day. and a resonable 3% battery loss per hr according to better battery stats. on aokp i was getting 1 day 20 hrs without greenify and exposed though. with the same apps installed.

You try clearing data on theme chooser? Someone donated a Note 2 to Carbon but it has a locked Bootloader. So I'm trying to find someone that will trade me a Note 2 that hasn't been updated to 4.3. Sucks because I can't really troubleshoot any issues since I can only root the device :banghead:

Trying things again on the latest nightly. Dalvik works well I think, no more force closes and so far no reboots. We'll have to see how ART runs because thats what I use!

Let me know if ART works on the newest nightly. Volume boosts that sbrissen merged into CM was added in tonights nightly. Tried one of his test builds a week ago and audio is way louder.

ART runs fine, it looks like. I have noticed that the battery life has been very poor, an issue I haven't had on Cyanogen. Android system, as usual.

Guessing spotty bluetooth must be a cm bug. Works great with my bluebuds x but won't stay connected with my wife's car. Great to see carbon back on our note 2 though!

The last two builds. Could just be her car, I don't know. I just sold mine so can't compare but I never had issues on any rom. Hers is new with Ford sync so there's no history with it. Her car gave an unstable bluetooth notification and would connect and disconnect over and over. I restored a tw 4.3 rom and issue went away.

Of course clean. Its by no means a deal breaker since it's not my daily car. I'll look into it again after flashing a newer Nightly later this week. It's weird when my bluebuds work flawlessly so thinking it's possibly the particular head unit. Just hope all is well when I get a new unit in my new car.

Have you verified mobile network is selected to lte/cdma? Do you have a lte toggle selected to show in quick settings and is it on? I've had to switch from global before when flashing aosp roms but not this time.

Hey Jason,

Thanks for the reply, I have it set to CMDA+LTA/EvDo, The toggles in the quick setting just say 3g. What is weird is right after I flash a nightly LTE will work for about 10 seconds, it then drops network connection and then its just 3g from then on.

Edit: Not only is it every time I flash a new nightly, but every time I turn my phone off and on I will have LTE for about 10 second if that and then its to 3g.
