Can anyone tell me where the official Slim thread is for KitKat. I want to downgrade but can't find it. Anyone here on 5.1.1 who has downgraded? Do I need to downgrade the bootloader or not. Can I just use TWRP to flash a Kit Kat rom on top of a lollipop ROM (on a CM12.1 variant now)

No need to downgrade boot loader (You won't be able to do that if it has Knox).
Just do a clean flash the KitKat ROM you want.

Hi guys, I need some help. Is it possible to turn off this because I can't put my phone to trousers. Here's a problem; after I turn off my screen and touch left or right key, it start illuminating and turn on screen. When I hold it, my phone is unlocking.... Regards

That is what I hope but others say it will brick since the kk ROMs are not compatible with lp bootloader. Have you done this before?

When I install (Normal TWRP or TWRP with f2f) I get the message this install is only for JFLTEXX, i9500..., this device is jfltecan. What is wrong?

Edit: Found out the problem. Installed the JFLTEXX TWRP and it worked.

Hello guys,

I flashed this ROM a week ago and It's great! The only problem I have is that after I lock the device if I press a button (Home, back or Menu) the device wakes up and unlocks. is there a way to turn this off? It's annoying because when I put the phone is in to my pocket it unlocks itself and keeps pressing things on the screen.
Is this a feature? Or it's a bug? Or maybe It's a hardware problem...

I've checked slimroms.net and they only have KK 4.4 on that site (pretty sure that's their old site that is no longer being updated). I am looking for the SlimLP 5.1.1 version for the AT&T (Qualcomm) S4 "jflteatt". Please and thank you.

Don't quote me on this, but AFAIK there were no official versions for LP for anything other than the jfltexx, since that's the version Angelcalibur is/was using.

I wonder when Slim is coming back... I used the ROM since the S1 days, but for LP on my S4, I had to turn to Cyanogen :'(

I'll quote myself on that one:

Don't quote me on this, but AFAIK there were no official versions for LP for anything other than the jfltexx, since that's the version Angelcalibur is/was using.

Also, keep in mind that this thread (and sub-forum) is specific to the i9505, so you should be looking on the i9500 sub-forum.

Hi! Alucard kernel release in my slimsaber build are not public.
I have asked alucard for this to see if it's possible to release it to public and the answer was no. The reason: when you release a kernel, it take a long time to test it before public release, take long time to make support and alucard don't have this time. I understand him because it not easy to build for Android, have a work and spend time with family.
You have to understand that it's not simply build a kernel, you have to watch if it boot with the Rom and if not, this is because there's something wrong with the radish or another thing... Etc...
If you want to have the last alucard, just use our JDCTeam rom (cm opt build, aosp pure rom, slimsaber). We release our build with the last alucard source.

Can't you just download the rom with the kernel you want, then extract it and flash it on the rom you want?

Not so simple!
you need the root folder to have the right ramdisk kernel.
And the slimsaber rom is not really the same than slimrom. slimsaber contains cm AND slim (minor) things...
