Screen Cast not working

I have been using this Rom for a while now, and its brilliant. Pretty much all the features work except for the Cast screen option. Is anyone facing the same issue?

First of all, big thanks to the devs for keeping this device up-to-date, this ROM is very stable but a little bit battery drain compare to sultan's LOS14.1 as my daily usage.
There's some bugs I found, ambient display brightness is always extremely low.
Ambient display brightness setting is not connect to device brightness, I have tried to set to maximum brightness but no help at all.
Changed to auto brightness also no go.
Don't know where I can adjust the brightness of ambient display or I suppose this should connected to current device brightness?

And slide status bar adjusting brightness not able to go down to the darkness level, the lowest should be 1% not 7%
Anyone have these issues?

this https://www.xda-developers.com/navigation-gestures-oneplus-6-oneplus-5t-gestures/ :) i could just use that app i guess but it uses 192MB ram or perhaps that app is the only way to get it? i thought it was like Fling but not exactly the same. I'm just asking ^^ it is not a deal breaker for me if it wont added ^^

EDIT: or perhaps i would go back to using the regular navigation bar anyways hehe. i have tried nav gestures on my samsung galaxy s4 but i didnt like it to much so i was just asking if it would be added in another way in this rom. so if it wasnt on ur list of features dont bother with it :)

suddenly snapchat stopps working for me after working flawlessly since day one. i have tried clearing app data and wipe dalvik/art cache and cache partition in twrp and it didnt help :/ everytime i open it it force closes :(

EDIT: not a rom problem, as it was reported on some news sites that snapchat is working on a fix hehe xD

I have problem with my camera. The error message is "Can not connect to camera". Neither the preinstalled camera app nor for example QR scanner are working.

I tried:
- clean dalvik/cache
- TWRP -> advanced -> selinux contexts
- dirty flash rom again
- change SELinux state with "Magisk SELinux Manager"

Nothing worked.

Im using TWRP 3.2.2-0. Cache and Data are F2FS. Device is encrypted. Omni is the recent "8.1.0-20180708-find7op-WEEKLY"

EDIT: or perhaps i would go back to using the regular navigation bar anyways hehe. i have tried nav gestures on my samsung galaxy s4 but i didnt like it to much so i was just asking if it would be added in another way in this rom. so if it wasnt on ur list of features dont bother with it :)

When I also had something weird with camera I just rebooted my device and it helped a lot of times(I'm serious lol).
Or clean camera app data+cache.
Or clean flash.

@Okeys there is an aosp keyboard bug, all the skin colors of the person Smiley's are expanded. Usually you hold on the yellow one and then all the other skin colors will pop up. Is this fixable cud you have to scroll for a while because all the colors are displayed hehe.

And when putting mp3 files on to the phone they won't show up in phonograph until the phone is rebooted

I know I have brought this up before about Swype typing with aosp keyboard. I would love to see it fixed if possible.

The dubble tap to wake even though I use kernel auditor to fix it. Maybe it is a proximity issue I don't know hehe

Sorry I'm not complaining I just enjoy using this ROM soooo much! :angel: :laugh:

How can get banking apps works in this rom? I've done clean install, no root, but barclays app said this rom is rooted.

Anyone else getting olay protect mesage about the roms email app being harmfull and sayign i should use gmail instead of the aosp one? Should i be worried? Never had this issue before

Hi Dev, thanks for the great ROM, works really well in areas. I have a bit of a problem though. I've grown accustomed to instant face unlock so like on other roms so if that could be implemented or if anyone has another non Xposed method, that'd be great. Thanks once again.

Anyone using mirrorlink (via USB) with this ROM? I can't seem to make it work on my radio, where my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with Nougat works just fine.

This is something that always happens to me on almost every rom i have had for a long time. All of a sudden a few times my OPO wont go into deep sleep and i have to reboot my phone to fix it, since we arent able to see kernel wakelocks in BBS :( pretty annoying

Can anyone tell me which firmware works best on Airtel India?

I'm currently on c7-00013 and facing signal drop, should revert back to c6 or upgraded one of c7?

Any suggestions.

I really felt in love with Omni as my daily driver n can't want to change it.

    From the today's update I'll use new kernel for our device(shout out to Kshitij Gupta)
    If you have any problems then better make clean flash.
    Idle drain now is gone, in my usage it ate ~10% per 9 hours at night only. (I think it's far better than it was)

    No more fun with spectrum. Let's keep it minimal. But as always you can look at ka and choose the best for yourself.
    Also I restored all Omni features for our device(for LED settings and for buttons settings).

    For those, who can't find button remapping. We have minimal customization of it. Look at OmniGears-Device Features and u'll find swapping there. And also have a look at OmniGears-Buttons, u'll also find action settings in "Other" for long tap and double tap there.

    Also, forgot to mention that I'm using another kernel, so feel free to play with its settings in KA or in another kernel tweak app. And u can use spectrum now, its support is added.

    One of the best roms for OPO, have tried nearly all big players including RR, Tuga, Official/Unofficial Lineage. Loved the stability and battery life. A min of 3 and half hours SOT for a 4 year old cellphone is literally amazing. Heavy user here (No gaming though, prefer big screen gaming).

    One of the small issue everyone mentioned was Instant face unlock, yeah it is a big deal breaker if one has got used to it. But a simple solution,

    1) Install Magisk (Duh, No root no fun)
    2)Install the Xposed SDK27 for 8.1, Flash it properly. (the module in the Magisk didnt work for some reason).
    3) Xposedinstaller.apk
    4) Download a module called IFU (Instant face unlock). It works like a charm. Activate the module reboot and boom. Done.


    Any comments on CrDroid or any rom with reading mode (I read a lot on my phone during commute) ?
