Anyone else get a "system isn't responding" error after a reboot? Seems to start about 2 weeks after the flash of 8/2 build. I wiped everything 2 weeks ago and it is doing it again.

Doesn't seem to affect anything, just really annoying

Everyone seem to have their Gapps working properly but me....I flashed the latest as of posting this, Google Play Services and Setup Wizard non-stop crash. Also tried ARM64 Gapps Micro version, no luck. Im gonna try the 7/30 release, we'll see...Also, do i need to be wiping and reinstalling the ROM after every try? That may be why...Thanks.

EDIT: Now its saying my SDK Version isn't compatible? Hm....Any solutions? Please? I just got this today and i'd like to have it working for tomorrow...

Do you have the latest version of TWRP installed for the X Pure?

I've been using this ROM for about a month now, and it's been really fast and smooth and no issues so far. I'm not using Xposed or any other kernels or add-ons. :good:

I am having the issue where after the initial flash of the ROM (without doing anything else) when I select English (US) at the setup screen, I can't get a keyboard. It only lets me use voice entry for passwords etc. When i use any other language (even different English dialect) it works fine.

I had the same issue. What got me past it is selecting a different language at setup until the keyboard appeared and then selecting English (US). I'm sorry I don't recall which locale worked but it seems like it was an English variant.

Anyone having issues with wifi and the phone thinking it's on when it's not? According to battery usage the phone thinks wifi is on, but it's not and it's killing my battery

Go to Settings - Location - Scanning and turn Wi-Fi scanning Off and change Location mode to Device only. You will then see the GPS and Wi-Fi status in separate lanes in the Battery History page.
Wipe cache if necessary. To further improve battery life, deny Location rights to apps which usually ask for location (like TripAdvisor). Thirdly, mail clients, social networking, weather widgets, wake the phone at regular intervals for updates and drain the battery, so increase those intervals for each specific app where possible. My battery life is between 2 to 4 days with regular usage.

Had the same issue when I had used a different gapps. Make sure you install everything from internal memory not SD.

    Pure Nexus issues on clark

Since clark is not a nexus, it is built with some modifications to Pure Nexus to allow it to work.

    Current issues
    Code:
    * Audio may be buggy at times, reported that using Viper4Android fixes it

Last message found from original developer - just in case still monitoring ; thanks again for this ROM - after months of messing with many N ROMs ; I re-flashed this ; still the best I have found so far

nicely done - would love to see an N version ; but know life happens and can't really say there is anything I am missing with N

For those wanting to move to N ; DU and Tesla are the two I found to be the best -- but battery life on this one seems better

My biggest hassle with N is that the newest ( from 4.2 versions - last I checked was 4.3 ) won't let me log on - 4.1 makes me relog on everytime I go to use the app. Seems to not be a hassle with custom ROMs for other devices - appears to be unique to clark

Nice work - and thanks again

Waiting on N kernel source. Once that is released and I have LineageOS stable with N blobs and kernel, I'll probably work on Pure Nexus for clark from scratch.

Has development for this ROM stopped?

I plan to update it when I have time. Need to make a bunch of modifications to get it to build with the new branch.
