AudioFX keeps crashing randomly. And everytime I try to uninstall an app the phone reboots on its own and does not uninstall the app. Has this been seen by anyone yet? Is there a fix at all? Thank you

You need to be on an older firmware to stop the reboot on uninstall. Look a couple pages back, it is discussed. I can't offer anything about AudioFX as I don't own this device. Good luck

Thanks for the tip sir. I'm on PG1 I'll try going back a bit

You need to be running Lollipop firmware. I flashed OG5 first and it's working great.

*Edit* Ok now I'm running into a problem that isn't described anywhere else in this thread. Whenever I flash Gapps, I can no longer send SMS. It works fine before I flash Gapps however. As stated above, I started with a clean OG5 install and then did a full wipe before flashing this rom. I let the rom go through it's first start up, then shut down and flashed the stock Gapps package from opengapps and bam, SMS fails. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

any time ive seen sms fail since CM12 i just open the dialer, type *#*#4636#*#* and click phone info the change 'LTE/CMDA auto (PRL)' to 'CDMA auto (PRL)' and my sms goes through after a minute or two. if you see that it stays on the 3g network just change it back.

for some reason it seems that bug has stuck around in CM13. although much much less common than CM12

Thanks for the details, I remember reading about the issue in CM12. What I did to get around this problem was to use the pico gapps package from opengapps. I wiped the system partition, reflashed RR, and installed the 'pico' gapps package and wiped dalvik cache and didn't have the SMS issue after that. I didn't try any of the other gapps packages, but the 'stock' one affected my SMS every time. I also tried skipping the google messenger install using the aroma installer but that caused the SMS issue as well.

Other than that I had the audiofx force close issue that others have described, but somebody posted a fix for it in this thread and it worked for me.

i used opengapps nano package and never got an sms issue. i had the audiofx issue too until i flashed OK1 firmware. however i am getting random reboots at least once a day. and the phone will vibrate and the screen will turn off like its going to reboot but nothing ever happens and all i can do is pull the battery to reboot. not sure what that is

I haven't had a single random reboot on OG5, and I haven't encountered any other unknown bugs so far. The audiofx mod I mentioned above (which can be found a few pages back) combined with OG5 firmware and a very light GAPPS package seems to be the way to go for stability. I love this ROM but unfortunately, I need to use Bluetooth call audio nearly every day which is a known bug in this ROM. :(

You can use emotional rom. Bluetooth and everything works great on that rom.

    FAQ

This will serve as a FAQ for tips, tricks and fixes.

    Update Frequency
I'll update this if they figure out the WiFi issue with the 5.7.1 build. Baring that this wont be updated again.

Can you flash this over Stock Marshmallow firmware
Wi-Fi will not work. you must revert back to COG5 to using RR

    Netflix not streaming
Try to rename liboemcrypto.so to liboemcrypto.old in in this folder system/vendor/lib/ and reboot
Thanks to @GROOVYJOSHCLARK for that tip.

    Fingerprint
As of the 3/5 build, this feature works.

    Ext. SD Card.
I advise against selecting convert to internal storage. Until there is a permanent switch to marshmallow. Some info:
    http://androiding.how/use-sd-card-as-internal-storage-marshmallow/

    GPS
as with any CM based ROM, make sure to get a GPS lock just before flashing the rom.

    Root?
you must enable root access by going to settings, developer options and then selecting root access.

    Contacts Storage
You'll just have to restart the phone as it tries to deal with contacts the first time. I've read it is due to using to large of a gapps package, but I tried pico and it still happened. Just hold the power button down until the phone restarts and that will get you past it for now until they tweak that.

    Camera issue?
I've read on CM13 threads that some users encounter problems with the camera, if you do the work around is to download a 3rd party camera. There are a number of them in the play store.

Bluetooth fix- see attached zip. Thanks to @ZION959 ***REMOVED due to FCs after flashing on newer builds**

    Update 2/12/16

    You can download it here
Don't forget to check the FAQ

I'm going to try my hand at incorporating Zion959's bt files. i am just a script runner meaning I just repo sync, build and upload for you all; and not a rom dev. So I'm not sure how it will go. :silly:

    Update 4/29/16

    You can download it here
Don't forget to check the FAQ

    The change log

As you know, each mid-version build may suffer a wart or two. 5.6.7 was released 4/9/2016.
If you want to you can visit https://github.com/ResurrectionRemix, click on each section and then click commits to view what was worked on.

I am just going to clean build from now on, it only takes an hour on my machine :)
    5
I'll start a build now, maybe they've tweaked something that will help with bt. Should be done is an hour or so

EDIT: ha, as soon as restarted in Ubuntu I received an email that required me to get back into windows - frigg'n Murphy and his stupid law.
I think I'll be able to run the build today, if not for sure tomorrow morning. Sorry.
