** got a no on the APN edit - Sorry **

Oh well... Thank you for trying at least. I will just continue to keep editing my downloads.
Great job as always! I appreciate all your hard work, time, and effort!

Edit: Just for grins I went back and double checked the apns-conf.xml, and someone added one of the APN's. It was never present up until this latest build. It's APN listing name is under Ting, and it has the settings that I need. I didn't realize it at the time (due to just copy and pasting lines), but the APN's I gave essentially had the exact same settings, the only thing that was different was their names. So I think were good to go! Someone on G+ heard ya.

The only known GPS fix is listed on the second post.

GPS
I made sure to get a lock before flashing RR MM, I was able to get a good lock.

What jdelano means is from a stock rom get a gps lock and then flash RR.
You can also backup RR in recovery - flash back to stock - obtain gps lock - restore your RR from recovery.
Your GPS should work after following these steps. I know it sounds like a lot of hassle, but it does work.

Gps is always hit or miss with aosp it seems.. Sometimes I install a build after wiping internal and it's broke, other times I will flash after wiping internal and it is fine.

One thing I have noticed is that once you get it, as long as you keep dirty flashing, you will keep it.

Hope this helps

Sorry I have expressed myself incorrectly. I always read the entire post.
When I make the flash of RR, I have a good GPS lock.
When I want to use the GPS for the first time, it does not work.
I'm actually wondering if we have another way to fix it?
I apologize for the misunderstanding.

I'm wondering did I miss something. Everything is great with the exception of playing video from various apps like Instagram or even sites like Facebook via Chrome. The YouTube app plays videos fine.
Any suggestions?

Hello all just wanted to say I really like the rom . I think everything is working pretty well. I did have 1 random reboot but that was it. And sometimes I reboot to fix lag if it becomes a problem. This has become my daily driver. Got it themed pretty sweet to. Thanks for your hard work!

Good ROM, just some minor issues for me

First off, thank you for the ROM.

Only issue that I have so for is that it doesn't connect to the 4G(LTE) bands, just the 3G. I do have 4G set as my preferred network type. Any suggestions ?

    FAQ

This will serve as a FAQ for tips, tricks and fixes.

    Update Frequency
Probably like once a week to let the RR devs make good progress.

    Root?
you must enable root access by going to settings, developer options and then selecting root access.

    Ext. SD Card.
I advise against selecting convert to internal storage. Until there is a permanent switch to marshmallow

    GPS
I made sure to get a lock before flashing RR MM, I was able to get a good lock.

    Contacts Storage
You'll just have to restart the phone as it tries to deal with contacts the first time. I've read it is due to using to large of a gapps package, but I tried pico and it still happened. Just hold the power button down until the phone restarts and that will get you past it for now until they tweak that.

    Updating same versions
I always try this order of installation of an update

    Get a GPS lock
backup with titanium backup - apps and data (nothing system)
boot to recovery and backup in TWRP

try to boot after each flash process of course.

wipe dalvik and partition cache and flash the rom
    everything works? if not then
wipe system, dalvik and partition and flash rom and gapps
    everything works? if not then
wipe system, data, dalvik and partition then flash rom and gapps and restore data in TWRP
    everything works? if not then
wipe same as above, flash rom and gapps restore apps/data using titanium backup

    Possible Bluetooth workaround
    thanks to @Forever Justice
"I did a clean flash after I backed up....gotta give system a chance to catch up, and go into Bluetooth, back out, restart Bluetooth, search, if not close and close all running g background programs and go back in an Walla...I love this ROM.... "

    Bluetooth fix
from this post. Thank you @mon@diac and @benjaminclaw for trying it out on this rom

Sorry its been a while, there are some CM updates that require cherry-picking. I've never done this so it's a pretty big learning curve. Compounded by the fact that I am disabled and my hands suck, lol I can't do much more than maybe an hour of keyboard work without having to do nothing for pretty much the rest of the day.
