Tried to manually install bromite system webview.
Unfortunately I cannot get it to work. Has anyone else tried and succeeded?

Looks like the ROM doesn't have the expected webview package name configured:
packageName="com.google.android.webview"
Seems to be required to be com.android.webview instead.

Please consider adding bromite webview signature to this rom
I installed the same way I always do. Install f-droid and add the official bromite repo to it and you can get webview as well, including updates.

after I flash gapps 7.1 pico, there is no Google PlayStore after root, tried a couple of times but the problem is not resolved. Any one has some suggestion? Thanks. Here is my steps:
1. install TWRP 3.5.0_9-1, no issue
2. flash this thor ROM Lineage-14.1 (03/12/2022 build), no issue
3. flash gapps ARM 7.1 pico download from https://opengapps.org/, no error during flash
4. root and enter system, there is no Google Play, very strange.

Look at the following link, a while ago @draxie created a utility called upHDX which you can use to repack the stock firmware image and then safely flash it via TWRP without losing your unlocked device capabilities.

Hi ggow,

Strange, I can flash the ROM from 2nd of Feb just fine but the March one never boots - gets stuck on the Lineage boot screen and nothing else, no matter how long I wait.. Any ideas?

Running TWRP 3.1.1

    I got zram working, bit more work than I thought. I'll do another release tomorrow, this will be the only change as I want to tell what impact it's had.
