AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX with various customisations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. We will constantly try to add more features and make it even better in future updates. A ROM by a user, for a user. #StayAOSP #ExtendYourDevice #BeExtended

#ExtendYourDevice Here are the Extensions! on top of AOSP! We are constantly trying to update the list. Our aim is not to provide all the features available on earth. We are not thinking of cherry-picking every feature out there. Our aim is to add important features that we think should be here and also what you think.

This is AEX ROM, my personal builds. I do things a bit differently from official, including versioning. My kernel is included (Krieg)

Theres some rules here. WED-SAT are my work days. Dont expect a response on those days, although Ill try my best. Be patient, thats the only way this project will last.

If encrypted and coming from any other ROM, you must wipe the entire device!!!! (FORMAT DATA!!)

This inlcudes fully functioning OP camera. As well as AdAway.

Nethunter kernel features should work. Ive had issues with atheros chipsets.

YOU MUST BE ON 9.0.6 FIRMWARE!!!

The updater app wasn't meant to make it in. My builds will remain unofficial as I like to diverge from what they do as a whole. But I maintain that this is still AEX. As always they've done an amazing job.

Yes 9.0.4 firmware it's off the hook really fast do the format data process and it takes awhile on first boot just wait it out it's all good

In device extras is spectrum profiles. I can't guarantee they'll work with a different kernel. It's not my intentions to force everyone to use Krieg however, if you do use a different kernel, you'll need to use a kernel app. Other wise if you so choose, you can just use spectrum. I advise keeping at balanced. I can't be held responsible for battery drain if you use performance.

Glad everyone's excited. I have to knock out this last day at work.

I plan to add my ex kernel manager color profile to device extras as well.

Last break before I'm done for the day. Yeah, I'll try to get another build up Monday or Tuesday before I start the work week on Wednesday

Also I won't be doing versions of the kernel. For inlining it'll just say AEX-KRIEG from now on. Although it too will receive updates

Ive used battery save option in spectrum profiles, it is all good... Played some mini games, had chat in discord for like 5-6 hours, watched youtube vids, watched lirik for 5 hours...

Only thing i dont like is, when i enable substratum option in display settings and set style as extendes, black bars turn into the whole ui color like in youtube.

Another thing ive found is when i add other sound options into volume panel, it adjusts ring volume at all times. Like while a media is being played, volume buttons adjust ring volume(also changes if alert slider is on silence or vibration)

Substratum and built in theming.... It warns you there may be issues.

And I just used YouTube with it set to use ring by default. Volume did control media as long as I was in YouTube.
