Go to Quick Panel Settings --> Widget Buttons -->Remove tick in Toggle Brightness and Toggle LED Flashlight
You will save your Battery life, 100% sure about it
IF YOU EXPECT A HUGE BATTERY SAVE AS SOON AFTER FLASHING THIS ROM OR FROM YOUR FIRST CHARGE IT MAY BE NOT HAPPEN. SO BE KIND ENOUGH TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE BATTERY LIFE IF YOU FACING A DRAIN AT-LEAST AFTER 4 CHARGES

I recommend this kernel [DooMKernel (v04)] for a improved battery life

but if you having problems with DooMLoRD's kernel then use the following kernel it should work fine

FAQ
- If USB mass storage doesn't work, go to "Settings > Xperia™ > Connectivity and change USB connection mode to MTP"
- If you are facing problems with WiFi, try this one WiFi Fix by fardjad
- Flash all the necessary files to make sure WiFi works properly. (According to your Kernel :eg doom kernel v4)
- For video playback issues (if you face any), try rebooting the phone.
- Copy Fire_Bird ICS zip to SD card.
- Boot into Recovery.
- Get a Backup (make sure you're always safe)
- Factory reset / wipe data, if you want a clean install and make sure you wont get any bootloops
- Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Flash zip package(s) (always flash main ROM first). [Then flash DooMLoRD's WiFi Module if you use DooMKernel (v04) ]
- Go to advanced restore and restore data (now you have all your previous data)
- Reboot.
