Meaning? I don't really know much abt this. Sorry for the inconvenience

Hi @Rashid3006

I will try to simplify what's GSI ROMs.

GSI is stand for Generic System Image, in simple words, it is a system image that you can use it in any device "hence the name".

To use GSI ROM in your device you must have a Treble vendor ROM first, for our Moto z play we have only one Treble ROM that is "Treble Xperience" and of course it's 64bit.

The below thread declaring some of our discussion about gsi. You might find it helpful to understand some of information about how to install gsi rom, what it is, what's the current bugs...etc. I recommend to read the whole thread.

many ways to guide, many ways to heal
minor problem. When answering or making a call, screen brightness is reduced to zero or 19 or 38, I guess depending on its mood - going to settings/display and raising brightness raises it to normal. I normally use a BT ear thing and no prob with that. It's the process of putting phone next to head that does it.

-> Apparently this is caused by Owl's nest/Gesture/Brightness control being set to on . On a whim, when I installed this version I set that on thinking it might be a cool thing. Fortunately I remembered that! Maybe the ear is inadvertantly adjusting the brightness. I must have a very dextrous ear... :) Setting it to OFF eliminates the prob - probably why no one else has noticed it. I was going after voicemail when I discovered it, but it happens on outgoing calls and probably any call.

    New build

    Download here

    From aosip team :
    - November security patch
    - a lot of commits since my last build : https://review.aosiprom.com/q/status:merged

    From my side :
    - Switched to moto cam (select 4k in cam settings / video size)
    - inroduced an adblock
    - slight input boost at touch screen ( 150 ms to 1401600 Mhz )
    - A new governor ( Electron ) heavily based on interactive, but more battery oriented. default governor is still Interactive
    - An easy method to switch to electron without root ( as i don't like to have to root ) : just create a folder named "electron" at the root of your internal sdcard and reboot. if you want go back to defaut interactive just delete this folder and reboot
    - An easy method (without root) to slightly decrease max cpu freq from 2016000 to 1958400 Mhz, it's really a little step down in frequency but that reduce consumption from 4087mW to 3585mW at full load. : just create a folder named "freqdown" at the root of your internal sdcard and reboot. if you want go back to defaut max value just delete this folder and reboot
    - So to summarize: if you want perf, just stay like that. If you want a little bit more battery reduce max freq (freqdown) or switch to electron . If you want really more battery switch to Electron and reduce Maxfreq
Power consumption is nearly linear before 1689 MHz, power consumption start to increase exponentially after 1689 MHz. :

Ok To be clear : if some people are not happy about 32bit move, they can still learn to build and share 64bit and see the time needed, or use an other 64 bit rom.
I wont go back to 64 because of Gcam, may be for other reason in the future but not this one. it's not a good enough reason since it doesn't work well.
so stop whine and bother me about that, it's useless.

    Thanks
