I get 1.5 hrs to 2.5hrs screen on time... 3hrs if it's my lucky day...

Used to get 6.5hrs on stock with All my apps and everything setup the way I wanted it except for lack of multi view (primarily why I decided to try custom roms).
Answered your own question I do believe.

TWRP Bootloop on Jedi X 6.1.2

Any ideas why I'm getting constant bootloops with TWRP 2.3.3.1 (openrecovery-twrp-2.3.3.1-t0lteatt.img.tar) but recovery works just fine with ClockworkMod (cwm6-recovery-i317.tar.md5) on my ATT Note 2. I'm currently running Jedi X 6.1.2. and the only really different thing is that I'm running the Note2Core kernel. I've flashed both TWRP & CWM via Odin and TWRP via GooMananger but only CWM ever works. I'm not sure what version of TWRP I was running before I temporarily borked my phone earlier today (all I did was change GB to US in the build.prop) after moving to my first round of Jedi install but after that, I couldn't get into Recovery (bootlooped) so I just yanked the battery until I could get back to my computer. Once back, I Odin'd TWRP over but still bootlooped so I threw CWM on and it loaded up where I could reflash Jedi. Once back into Jedi, I hunted down TWRP via GooManager, installed, and bootlooped once again. I threw CWM back on via Odin again but I really don't like CWM's interface so I'd like to get TWRP back if possible.

So...all of that said, anyone have any idea if it's the ROM (I'm doubtful since others have reported working TWRP installs...), the TWRP version, me, or what? Thanks in advance.

Actually, I had a similar issue where by after rooting I went to goo manager and installed TWRP 2.3.2.3

I would get constant boot loops to recovery after flashing jedi.

Convinced it wasn't the rom, I odin'd cwm and installed jedi.

Haven't had a problem since.

Oddly enough, others used TWRP without a problem on their I317(M)'s and flashed jedi no problem

*scratching head*

I had the same problem just after updating to the latest AsylumCore, ended up (after CWM and reflashing my phone from scratch) reverting back to the previous AS kernel and haven't had a problem since. Didn't know if they were related. I just wanted my phone back. Seems like the latest Note2Core kernels don't want to play nice with the latest Jedi. But again, it could be something entirely different. I'm no developer.

I love this rom I'm running the latest version. Though, I'm facing 1 problem the problem is that's when I update any application the phone start to lag a little bit. I don't know if anyone has the same problem but it worth mentioning it.

Thanks Johnnywhojr! I know how frustrating it can be for someone who is not familiar with all the vernacular / terminology to try to figure all of this stuff out. Even with best intentions I think a lot of peeps, when trying to explain things to newbs like me :) tend to skip some of the smaller details of the steps that are important to someone who's never done it even once before. I think it's the details that are easy to take for granted once you become familiar with the process.

Besides, I just figured I was "paying it forward" from all the help you guys (johnny, apen, bwells, arbores) have given me and everyone else here. :) Seriously you guys seem tireless in your efforts to help and I know at least I appreciate it. Keep up the great work!

Ps. If there was room in or near the op for a detailed instructions like that or even a link for beginners it might help curb a lot of the recurring questions that clog up the thread here. :)

This ROM is very stable, battery life is out of this world, everything works fine for me, it's lightening fast so, In my case no need to adjust CPU and GPU, I switched to 64GB as the internal and it worked flawlessly, I don't see the differences in speed. Thanks for all the hard works and dedications...

Yeah, something like that but I don't like the icons, is there a way to change them? and also don't like the transparent background. Sorry I'm picky:D

I'll try it though!
Well have you looked in the theme thread? Maybe test a few and report back?

That's strange. I switched to a different ROM to double check and it works fine. So I tried redownloading this rom again, installed via twrp, did nothing else and still can't get the headphone port working.
Are you using a different Kernel? If so check your settings. I have ZERO problems with the headphone jack on the Sabre Kernel.

For what it's worth, I've heard people say that TWRP is better/more stable than CWM but for some time now I've been paying attention to the thread and what recovery people have been using out of pure curiosity and I feel as though I've seen a recurring patten. It makes me think the people that have been using TWRP are having more issues with this ROM. Maybe it's just because more people use TWRP, but it seems whenever someone has an issue that is not easily resolved, when we dig into it that person has almost inevitably installed with TWRP. I don't have any proof but it might be worth just trying to install the rom via CWM just to see.

Well too be honest! I f****d up my note 2 yday bad. I literally had to start from scratch. Followed the exact steps as always to return to the Force. I use twrp for everything possible to flash. I purchased clockwork mod aloooooong time ago and have always lived by it. Since note 2 landed its only been twrp.

And have no issues with installing Jedi 6.1.2.

So, with that said....for those with issues, stop rushing your installs. :) Take your time and follow every step. Make sure you have the latest TWRP which can be easily had through goo.im under settings. of which you can find in the play store.

Also don't restore apps and data if you use TiBu. Just restore apps. Or just reinstall through play.

This is my Christmas Update. Have a happy holidays! And remember drinking and driving is STUPID!

Thanks!
