Are you rooted and have a custom recovery installed?

yeah i'm rooted and have TWRP
Put the rom in either the root of your ext sd card or in a folder named downloads. Turn the phone off three finger (volume up, home and power button press) boot into recovery backup your stock rom using twrp. when done backing up your stock rom back out to the homescreen of twrp. Wipe cache then dalvik factory reset then format system. Go to install in twrp find the jedi x zip in your ext sd card flash the rom. When done flashing wipe cache and dalvik again. Then reboot system once the phone boots up set up your wifi and stop after that wait the ten minutes. Then reboot the phone once booted finish setting up your gmail and enjoy the force.

Edit: also if your on another carrier other then at&t you will need your carrier files. They are in the op if your just on at&t youll be fine.

I am having trouble with my video recording on the latest version. when I go to record it just freezes. Any suggestions?

Also, I tried looking for the Samsung s calendar in the goody bay but can't locate it. It isn't on the latest version that I flashed.

Any help would greatly be appreciated guys.

Thanks!

Just tried revording a video worked fine for me. Try clearing data on the app. Or reboot wipe cache dalvik and fix permissions.

Perhaps the alarm issue was a random fluke. This morning it worked fine. Thanks for responding to me.

So how are people getting such good idle battery life? I can let my phone idle without touching for 3 hrs and it's down 10 or more percent. Battery stats just show that it's all going towards device idle. Anything I can do to tweak it?
