I'm not convinced dirty flashing is their only problem.

I agree, I've dirty flashing since I had a rooted GN2 and I haven't had any problems. :thumbup:

No no, its the best rom out there. We just have crap stirrers like tjhooker. Posting his private messages. Nice way to lure a person in thats having a problem with a rom. A rom that I HAVE BEEN RUNNING SINCE DAY ONE. Ill never run another rom, ill get it fixed somhow.

No Data connection

Hi, Im having some problems getting this ROM to work.. I have an i317 ATT version and my problem is that I have no AT&T data conection. My cellular works fine, but I don't get any 3g H or 4G at all. I looked into the APN settings and its completly blank with the option to ADD a new one completly gone, I only get the "restore defaults" option available and it doesn't help my case either. I reverted back to my international rom for now since that one works right out the box with LTE, I also have that ROMs latest Modem installed.. but I really wanted to give this Jedi rom a shot since I heard so many good things about it.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will have to download apn settings or look up the apn setting from google type pta apn settings and you will find them.

Well I know the APN settings, I just have no way to Input them... like I said

Hey guys,

Been using this ROM for quite some time now and love it.

Got a weird problem, sometimes when I'm on mobile data I will lose the data connection part of the signal so the top bar won't display G, 3G, H, H+ or 4G etc it will be blank but with signal bars.

Any ideas?

what's the best way to install this... cuz the new TRWP (2.5.xxxx) is a bit different in the wiping section

You can wipe manually with TWRP or there is an option in Aroma installer to wipe the phone as well. Jedi x14 is awesome and I highly recommend the Deviant Jedi theme. Such a nice finishing touch on this beast :thumbup:

I jut switched from cleanrom to this and am impressed so far. Got obscene battery life (almost 6 hours screen on in a day) when using cleanrom + perseus. Any benefit to running perseus here? I have no desire to overclock, but I may undervolt eventually.

Also, any way to get rid of the boot animation, or change it? "Bootanimation" in settings force closes.

Thanks for the input Tony! ill give it another go and report back with the results.. this time I'm gonna keep Perseus since I like to charge my phone while streaming.. sTweaks allows me to charge at .8Amps while using the USB port and 1.8Amps from the wall

Reflash the rom and do not flash pro settings they are now obsolete

I still cant edit the APN settings myself since they are grayed out. This is so frustrating, I don't get why I cant edit the settings myself with this ROM, or am I overlooking something? can't create a new APN and cannot edit the ones loaded from the app.
