Ok people, thread is cleaned of the "E-Testosterone" battle going on. I highly suggest you keep things "On Topic", and not clutter the threads with useless comments.
It's much easier to select the "RP" (report post) button, rather than start replying to these types of posts. Technically, I went to the root post, and to be honest, I saw nothing inflammatory in the post. Didn't like the boot animation, but gave praise to the Dev.
Protecting Dev's and fostering development is the Moderation Team's business, not yours. Instead, Mods have to waste time cleaning up useless posts, because some people can't control themselves and do things the correct way.
This thread has 771 pages. I would guess that 50% are Off Topic and not related to ROM development. Ever wonder why "search" breaks often?
Off Topic posts;
a) Thanks (have a Thanks button, use it. No need to create yet another post)
b) Downloading now (who cares)
c) Post a mirror? (if the Dev wants another link, the Dev will create one)
d) Home screen posts (who cares)
e) Redundant Posts (search before posting, or read several pages)
f) Redundant install issues (if you don't know how to work out yer install issues, you shouldn't be flashing)
Here's what helps Devs;
a. Logcats and Dmesg (honestly, I haven't seen any attachments anywhere from anybody recently.
b. Concise description of the issue
All I see is;
a. "blah blah blah doesn't work"
b. "I want blah blah blah feature" The Dev DB has a "Request feature. Use it.
Keep it on topic please, and help the devs the "correct way"
