The reason for the polaris spen issue is in the build.prop in data file.
Device model has to be switched.

No the libraries and files need to be and are being switched... assuming you dont want your ohone to think you have t889

Actually, I see an issue too. It is with the SPen app, specifically. Whenever I try to open a new or existing note, I get this message in a gray banner across the screen. The SPen works in all of the other apps (Memo, Papyrus, etc). What is weird is that I don't even have Polaris Office installed...

I get the same thing, s pen not working to write.

Something also wrong with the launcher. I use Nova, and every time I hit the home button, I a prompted for which launcher to use (Jedi or Nova). I choose 'Nova', but the setting doesn't stick. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, no worky.

Oops my bad. I had the same issue installing the 4.2 camera and using the sphere and it gave me the same message. I had the build prop file and edit it.

Changing the model name gets rid of the error message bit not the issue. Still not detecting the pen in the 'note window'

That happened to me but on a different rom. Are you on core kern or perseus kern? Cause I dont think its the rom.

Core. I have not updated. OP says he is using Perseus, anyway.

Impressive

I flashed Jedi X Rom first thing this morning - and all I can say is WOW! I did flash the Note2Core Extreme kernel and it compliments this ROM beautifully - I know they don't mean much - but the Benchmark Scores are amazing, first time I have ever gotten a score on Antutu over 15,000.

In any event, THANKS for helping to continue make me glad that I bought this phone. I gave my SIII to my wife when the Note2g first came out and wondered if I would regret that decision - so far, NO WAY! I love the NOTE 2 - and I am very grateful for having another awesome ROM to play with! My only regret is that I don't see LTE when I am clearly getting LTE Speeds. (We just recently got LTE in this area and it is just reassurring to see it on my phone - I would really appreciate it if the DEVS who built this incredible ROM would do something to get the LTE to show up instead of it just saying 4g when LTE is active, that would be awesome)

I meant I am running the core kernel that the ROM came with (which is Perseus).

How did u get 15000? What are ur settings?

Working ok with no flash. When using the flash you need to hold the blue on-screen button until it focuses or it will FC on you.

It will say that. But it won't let you update since your device has been modified.
