INSTRUCTIONS;​

Boot recovery,
Wipe data/Factory reset,
Mounts and storage
format, SYSTEM!, Cache, Data.
Advanced, wipe dalvik cache.
Install zip from sdcard.
Install Runny kitkat and the aroma included gapps.
Boot rom
Log into playstore.
Play store will close as it launches and updates some files.
Reboot phone.
Now you should be good to go.....

To compile this rom you must use:

evervolv/ hardware/qcom/display-legacy
evervolv/ frameworks/av
evervolv frameworks/native

the kernel source should be added to

~/home/your-username/cm11/kernel/htc/ -kitkat-

basic understanding of compiling android is neccesary to succesfully build this code.

Lol, My Linux laptop killed it self through an update and couldn't do a fresh install so when back to windows, I love Ubuntu

Hi guys, long time no speak

Ook let's cut to the chase, I'm coming back to s xl because I really want to take the challenge of making 4.4 for u guys.

Just finished porting szezso's KitKat kernel, I know works with KitKat because he's developed cm11 for incredible aka vivo, I get the phone back of my girl Thursday and testing will commence once I've built the ROM too,

So just a heads up and keeping the thread open till I post the ROM here.

No it will not. Runnymede kernel is old and panel driver is == bad **** needs alot of work

Nice to see people are still taking interest in this phone, even if its only for a challange I my self would have sold it agees ago if it wasn't for the custom non-sense ROMs for this phone, cause the software was the only fault of the phone, it has an excellent build, dropped it a few times and its still as new

I've compiled the recovery, or works but sdcard won't mount yet,

They changed the mounting convention so I've got to figure that out before flashing and trying the rom,
Good news is the new kernel works : )

p.s : i'm using your cm10 right now. and it has some bugs in frontcamera when using powercam and instagram. also when i try to edit a photo in instagram phone stops working then i need to remove the battery.

hope these won't happen in this one.

Nice one Onejay. doesnt sound too far getting it all work. Let us know if you need a tester as still got the phone and using it for testing few things mainly apks!
