Hi just follow this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/rog-phone-2/how-to/rom-update-wwzs660kl16-0622-1907-33-t3968495. Download the raw firmware from mediafire link. Extract to your pc c:/ drive.. Ensure it has flashall_aft.cmd in the extracted folder. connect ur phone using the middle port.. not the charging port.. Off the phone enter fastboot mode.. click the flashall_aft and then voila.. But take note ur rom still not fully global.

How can I check if my bootloader is locked or unlocked? I got the phone through a third party and they did CN to WW.
It says when you first boot the phone, there's a pause with a huge message before the phone boots... You can't miss it. If the phone just boots without any message, then the bootloader is locked

Thanks for the prompt reply, but what if they already boot it for checking purposes? I would then not see anywhing on my first boot.

If it's unlocked it stays unlocked until you lock it, you would notice it. If there's no message that it's unlocked when you turn your phone on, then they have relocked the bootloader

Thanks, I guess I need to figure out another reason why my widevine is L3 if bootloader is lock and both fingerprint and rom are WW.... Unless you have any suggestions?

Curious, why are you following this guide if your ROM is WW and fingerprint is WW? you can just download the latest WW update from Asus website and put it in root directory of your phone and restart the phone to update, ... correct?

If i am not mistaken, this guide is for people with CN ROM and/or fingerprints
Nop I have a firmware( 16.0622 1906.19-) and I too can not manually update.
I believe it has to do with a marker still pointing the device towards China and not WW. ( An issue for the first batches I believe) I've been holding off hoping a solution would arrive that meant not opening the bootloader but that is not the case.
