I can but how? I have the NVidia apk file but there is no option to enable the balanced power on MROM-ICS

I just moved the NvCPLSvc.apk to system\app, there is no option in the MROM-ICS to enable the blanced power, hopefully it's enabled by default.
I'll let you know how it goes

You have to copy to your SD or File root browse to the .apk and install it. Then it should show the option under Settings->Display.

The NvCPLsvc.apk is a power management feature for Tegra 3, not Tegra 2... It's giving a lot of errors in logcat...

Anyone running AtrICS can run the

logcat | grep -i nv

to see if any errors are displayed?

Hello,

the apk cannot be installed in ICS9, it gives error, I have check were the files are installed and copied to the same place in CM10_those-lib, including dalvk-cache. I reboots and the service was present and ruing NvCPLsvc-service . But no menu to enable it.... Maybe over one command using the console?

I will run a logcat as soon as I can find some time.

Even though this app is for Tegra 3 devices, it definitely has an impact on our device. I have not played with it enough to say for certain, but I really feel there is an increase in battery life. I plan to run some battery drain tests soon.

The only real data I have generated so far can be found here.

rom is running smooth..except one huge problem

its not reading my internal storage now. Cant install anything or take pics.

I noticed that if i go to storage, then settings inside storage i can click Use Internal Storage.

But then i go to Advanced settings and "Use external storage" box is checked, so i uncheck that and it counter acts the other storage settings.

I have no idea what to do..either one i pick, 1 of the settings will be on external. I need some help!

EDIT: I also cant mount USB storage in CWM.

EDIT 2: Doing a wipe and re flashing right now. hopefully this will fix it--<------didnt work. any suggestions?

EDIT 3: I fixed it, you cannot use the setting under storage-->(app button)--->Storage options..you need to go to Settings--->Advanced--->and uncheck Use External Storage. Then reboot

So heres a fix if anyone runs into this problem

I used ravilov's universal ramfix and it worked very well. Don't have a link but should be easy to find.

Just use the option to end calls with the power button - doesn´t solve the black screen, but gives you the option to end calls immediatly.

The reason is the damn leaked kernel.

If moto had released its source code, we would have had stable and fully functional roms already. Thanks to great guys working on issues here, I believe we will have a stable kernel in the following weeks/months.
