Yes, you have to repit to stock go back a few pages and you will find the procedure, it is more easier than it looks.

I know the procedure, thank you. I did it before. The only question is: is it worth? Because I use RR MM (6.01) and I don't know: is this rom better?

I have tried almost all custom ROM´s for our beloved galaxy S2, for my experience I cann´t say that ROM X is better than ROM Y, it is kind of personal choice, some users do prefer customization some users don´t, with this you will get a custom ROM with plenty of customization and features that aren´t in stock.

I understand your question and doubt about if it worth, because you´ve to repit and if you don´t like it you have to repit again...

At the moment I am on AOKP because there´s an app that I use that requires higher android sdk and that is the only reason for me not using this ROM.

Thanks. I like customizations but I want performance too. RR has (I think) the most customization options but I wonder if this rom runs faster than RR and with better battery drain, because it's based on stock rom. Other doubt I have is that this rom is so old.

Regarding battery life, I would not consider my own experience as the best and the most accurate, still on stock battery with 5 years old of usage , although and since I am not using the phone as my daily driver, it holds for about 4 to 5 days, some youtube videos, music and is my daily alarm

This ROM is fast, much more than stock ROM, but its old too, RR its also very fast but I cannot remember enough to be able to compare both, sorry about that.

Hello! Trying to flash this on my old s2 since i wanna go back to stock but its hard to flash PIT via odin since the usb is kinda busted. If i use the lanchon repit flashable zip what kind of partitions should i put? Currently i use 1gb for system 2gb for data and 1gb for preload and it doesnt seem to boot my roms. Any idea which values i should put to boot neatrom? Or am i stuck to booting aosp roms from now on?

I don't know why but I am still able to install this ROM after repartitioning my SGS2 to 1,5GB for system, 6gb for data, 0.5 gb for preload. The ROM still boots and works greatly

Is the IsoRec recovery preventing the rom from booting? Cause mine still doesnt boot weirdly

I don't think so. I also haven't tried CWM or PhilZ yet but they may work

Hi all! being so long for the last time I used this ROM but have to try it again! I've got good memories of it and it still stands today!
My question: is it possible to use the swipe up gesture to get to app drawer, form the main screen, that many modern roms use? Instead of clicking the APP icon. I tried to search in the options but haven't found it.
And there is any way to remove the Neatrom UPDATE service? as it doesn't make sense now and it take resources.

you need to use another launcher for swipe up app drawer gesture because it was introduced many years later than this stock launcher

if you are rooted you can freeze or uninstall neatrom update app via apps like titanium backup

I'm guessing you had to repartition to install lineage on the S2.

If so, you'll need to put the partitions back to stock before flashing NeatROM or other stock based roms.

The partition sizes are listed in my post about 10 above yours.

Yes, the first time I tried to restore without the pit file but later I realized this and I tried putting the original pit but the result is always Bootloop.

It's a very long time since I did a re-pit to stock on the S2, but I don't remember it being difficult - I just carefully followed the lanchon repit instructions.

I don't have a link though - it was ages ago!
