I look at the post #1273 page 128 in this thread , and this person has the same issue. He downgraded to TWRP2.5 from TWRP2.6.3.0 as you suggested. He stated "I did that and worked fine. Now I just noticed that when I load "Upgrade Hairybean 2.31 (4.2.1) Bootloader & TWRP (2.5).zip" via TWRP2.5 and it reboots to flash it, the message: "signature mismatch" is displayed in the top left corner and the push is cancelled", and there is no follow up threads of how to solve it. Thus, if I downgrade to TWRP2.5 manually, I will end up "signature mismatch" when I install "Upgrade Hairybean 2.31 (4.2.1) Bootloader & TWRP (2.5).zip" via TWRP2.5. So I am not sure this is a good option.
My laptop does not work on ABD or fastboot. I use Window 7 pc for ABD and fastboot. One thing, do you have a Windows 7 computer or laptop, you might have to flash the Hairybean files from ABD and fastboot, it might not be allowing the TWRP 2.5 to overwrite the newer 2.6 on there not.
