Disclaimer:
Aura is provided free of charge with no warranty. I am not responsible if this bricks your phone, kills your cat, eats the last piece of cake in the fridge or sleeps with your wife (that was an isolated incident, completely unrelated to Aura, and I don't want to hear about it anymore). You are installing this rom at your own risk.

This rom is mostly stock, slightly themed. Aside from the battery symbol, that is. I have plans to theme it extensively but due to time constraints, this will take some time.

Features:
  • Deodexed
  • Zipaligned
  • Rooted
  • Based on stock 4.5.91
  • Removed Bloat (*1)
  • Wifi Scan Tweak
  • Proximity Sensor Tweak (Faster Response Time)
  • Multi-Touch 10 (8) Point Mod (idea from michael0619)
  • Battery Fix (from jug6ernaut)
  • No Carrier and 1% Battery Mod (from nottach)
  • Techboot Transformers Boot Animation (No Sound) (from Swiftwork)
  • juwe11's Ram Optimization
  • Hosts Adblocking
  • faux's OC and UV AT&T kernel
  • Added in some Ringtones, Notifications and Alarms
  • Defaults to USB Storage Mode instead of Moto Portal
  • Amazon Appstore installed by default (Can be uninstalled like a normal app)
  • Skip Blur Setup enabled
  • Non-Market Sources enabled by default
  • Available on Rom Manager for Updates and Downloads
  • DOES NOT INCLUDE WEBTOP. Download that here Webtop for 2.3.4 CWM (I have not tested if this works)
  • AGPS Option Enabled
  • Set Preferred Install Location for apps enabled
  • True EXT4 ( All other Atrix devs... you are welcome! :) :) )

Requirements:
  • Unlocked Bootloader
  • Latest Clockworkmod Recovery (Download here)
  • Due to the Unified faux Kernel, AT&T and International are working

The Edition Differences:
  • Debloat Edition is the slimmest one, with a significant portion of the bloat removed and even the BlurHome replaced completely.
  • Account Edition has everything Debloat has, but with all of the Blur Accounts stuff put back in.
  • Blurred Edition is as unmodified as Aura gets, with pretty much all of the original Blur still in.

Must be using the newest CWM available. Rom Racer's is recommended, but the one from Rom Manager itself should work.

Nice, as soon as download is available I will give it a go and post back. Thanks

Is it possible to add tethering to ROM? Added afterwards but save us a step...everything functional so far, looking forward to your theme.

Download should be available on Rom Manager soon (and on that new ACS one, whenever he replies to my PM...) but the download link from my own website should be up and running right now.

not to be a nag but the dev of SetCPU specifically asked dev's NOT to bundle SetCpu in with their roms, even though it is free to XDA Users. i'd hate to see this rom removed from the forum because of warez..

Sorry, I didn't notice that in his thread I guess. I will update my rom and remove it, no problem at all.

Edit: Well look at that, right at the top of his thread. Updated rom, currently uploading it to my own server and Rom Manager. Will remove old link until then.

I am downloading the install file from here on XDA right now.

being that I have Tenfar's CWM, would you need me to test installing it overtop of my current ROM (Dorian's RedPill v3) through ROM Manager and ACS Updater? Or has it been confirmed that the ROM successfully installs through both of those ROM Managers ?

I'm just wondering why one would use this over RedPill, Ninja, or KP's Alien? It seems like it has the same hacks as all the other ones without themes (especially Allien). The only thing I can think of is that it contains faux's kernel, but aside from that it just seems like it's got the same content.

Edit: Oh, I noticed you are planning on themeing it. If that's the case, I can see why one would go with this one. As of now, I really don't quite get this release. Mind you, I love that you're doing this and the more ROMs/choices/devs the better, but differentiation from the others will be key here for people to use it especially since you're releasing later than everyone with the same hacks as them.

they're all a little different, for each one YMMV, it's just a matter of personal preference and often at stages this early people will simply flash and test just to help the dev out and give feedback on what could be added, what's good and what could be removed.

No offense but don't download if you don't like it. You stated the difference is the kernel. Let's keep the thread on subject please so there is less crap to skim through when looking for relevant information.

I wasn't trying to be offensive at all. I was just wondering how this one differs from the others. With this many ROMs it's always hard to keep track of what ROM has what especially since devs are changing them constantly. AND my post was edited before you responded.

Your response is more irrelevant than anything else being posted. At least answers to my question will help others wondering the same thing. Yours was not helpful. Have a good day sir.

Before getting defensive, my post confirmed the difference was stated by you....and I didn't say you were being offensive, I stated that my statement wasn't meant to be offensive. Again, before firing back, please read whole post, I did answer your question.

I am alive! Though I have almost no time to type, I am logging on at work and probably shouldn't be...

Anyway, my time is very limited right now. I got the video card replaced and have had a total of, according to steam, 1 hour to play Skyrim even in the last two weeks. First time I have been on the forums in like 2 weeks. I hate the holidays :( Atleast until I get more experience coding and a degree under my belt so I can get a better job.

I promise I will update asap :( Sorry guys.

Sorry guys, I have been busy lately. Several people got fired for... reasons... last week so I am uncertain when I will have proper time :( I still exist I just seem to exist in a slightly different time continuum.

Been a long time since I was on this thread... or XDA in general. New job has me a lot busier. I am kind of glad I didn't get around to joining the S3 modding scene, the crazy amount of roms that are really just different themes with all the same tweaks is insane. Modding for the smaller communities, like the Atrix, is infinitely better.

I completely forgot about my site, looks like it has been down a long time, heh. Sorry about that.

I will say I am utterly shocked people are still using Aura.
