WiFi Calling?

So VoLTE is mentioned. Any possibility of WiFi Calling? Always loved Pure Nexus on my Nexus 6, hoping for WiFi Calling on a custom rom at some point. Thank you.

Flashed it, ran it for about 20 minutes.... It's a good start, but way too much lag for a daily-driver.

The system will lag 3-5 seconds, so you're not sure you clicked the screen and you touch it a few more times, then it catches up and will make all those "touches" and put you somewhere you don't know how you got there? Animations will freeze up too (like the spinning circle) and the pull-down.

Also, there is no camera on this ROM...There is a gallery, but no camera (but a camera icon shows up). I downloaded Google Camera, snapped a couple pics and it seems to work fine (didn't test out video or panorama).

I also didn't see SU or Magisk in the app drawer or settings, so I'm not sure if you need to flash SU or download the Magisk manager from the playstore?

It's a good start and I'm happy to see this here, as soon as the lag is gone, I will give it another try......Would love to make this my daily driver.

I am not feeling the lag. It's just as fast as any other ROM.

Gonna try again.. I did flash fonts and Dolby Atmos (that worked with RR) at the same time. I did flash Beans Gapps, listed in OP, but no camera......But might have been some issues with Dolby......So, I'm flashing just the ROM and Gapps - Round #2, booting up now.

Still seeing lag on the initial setup, taking a few seconds to recognize the keyboard needs to pop up and to recognize I have hit "next".... I'll see how it goes after it's all booted up.

[EDIT]
I skiped the restore of old apps, went straight into the OS..... Still having terrible lag.

I'm using a A2017U, if that makes any difference?

[EDIT #2]
Tried Radioactive kernel, noticed no difference in the lag for me :(

Can confirm. Have slight lag when open keyboard for example. Maybe cause of the G-Model?

Edit:Nevermind....same probs on U Model see above

Edit2: Only have probs on that rom. No probs on AICP or RR or NucleaRom.

So I played with this ROM today. This is definitely on the road to becoming a daily driver. I've always enjoyed the Pure Nexus Rom on my 6p.

Camera works for me. Even recorded video with open camera.

Questions: Is Kernel automatically set to permissive? I tried setenforce 1 with terminal and it's still on permissive. Even after reboot. I personally prefer enforcing for security purposes.

There's some UI lag, when I attempt to go into text fields, Google keyboard is slow to open. Could be Google keyboards fault, not the ROM itself.

Bouncing in and out of apps is a little bumpy as well. Little hiccups here and there..

Let's talk about what works though!

Camera, gps navigation, phone, text, didn't test volte,! Should have!!, speakers (They sound mono, but no distortion), and it's definitely not using the Qualcomm dac for media playback (hooray!!)

Overall I think this was a knockout first release. I look forward to the next build!

Maintainer of pure nexus for oneplus 3 said he was able to minimize a lot of the lag in his build. He's using Sultan's kernel source, but maybe there's some other commits @marchetto96 would kindly share?
