hey blayo, sorry if this has been asked before but is there any way to fix the text messaging bug

as when i receive a text, it says the text a minute earlier than the current time so when i reply the text my message goes on top of the message received rather than underneath

its a tiny bit annoying and i was just wondering if there was any way to fix it

Thanks for the awesome rom blayo! Been running it for almost 2 months now and no problems so far

I got 2 questions though..
First being how to change the bootanimation? I tried to change my bootanimation like you said in first post by pushing it to /data/local but it doesn't seem to work.. (I tried to mount system). The bootanimation just doesnt get replaced. Any ideas how I might be able to solve this?

My 2nd question is how do I make my legend adfree? I tried using system overlay and then using adfree android app but it doesn't seem to be able to modify the hosts file. Can only do S-OFF phones do this?

Don't do that via recovery! Just do that while your phone is in normal operation mode.

So you're saying it's best to put the original hosts file back there and never use adfree app?

Also, I got the bootanimation working now thanks so much!

No, I'm saying that newer hosts file has more ad servers added thus blocking more ads.

I have an issue with the WiFi.
Once I enable it, everything works fine (I can access website, download app updates, etc) but after some time (like 20min or so) the wifi still says it's connected to my router but no data goes through!
The wifi sleep policy is disabled (and the wifi icon would disappear anyway)

Disabling it then enabling is solves the trick. But I can't keep the connection alive for an extended period of time

Am I the only one in this case?

It is a known issue. It is stated so on the first post of this thread. Nevertheless, I wish a new version would fix this.

Does this happen with any (different) router?
Does this happen with any type of security?

Hum, there's only one router I use most of the time. If I use another network for an extended period of time, I'll try.
I'll try with a clean install also and will let you know.

I really would wish to have a shortcut to wifi, brightness, gps, bluetooth and so on when you scroll down the status bar like in the rom: [RC4b][10.09.2011] Gingerbread 2.3.3 with HTC Sense 2.1.. Is there any way to make that possbile?

Why not use an app like widgetsoid instead so you can have controls on a widget on the homescreen? It's pretty much the same thing and no new rom version needed.

Before Widgetsoid, as mentioned, I found this:

Notification Toggle in my experience turns on data much quicker than Widgetsoid (I am the lazy person to hold down the power button and turn on 3G THAT way).

Best thing too, it was tested on an HTC Legend, so it works with us, and suffers with us, aussi.

Btw of all Roms this one fits best on my legend, 2.3.3 sense is to buggy
