oh sorry, I thought you were talking about data2sd. No it doesn't and in fact you can NOT install those two simultaneously...
No enabling data2ext doesn't work when you don't have the script installed :p I don't need data2ext, apps2sd is just fine for me.

But nevertheless I've got no idea why apps2d isn't working as i had it up and running on the stock rooted froyo rom.

I like to know this too, is apps2sd supported or not?

*Ext partition found, but not mounted.
Your rom may not be setup to run Apps2SD.
Check with your rom developer if the boot image
is programmed to run Apps2SD.*

Also why is apps2sd attachment named to dta2sd? Confusing i must say if this file really is apps2sd attachment..

Theres allready too many thisandthat2hereandthere versions out there so...

a2sd with this rom is a modification of dark tremor apps2sd. Hence dta2sd

That's what I'm telling you, you don't have to start over again. The moment you get a new card, do a nandroid backup (or ROM manager backup - it's the same) It will backup your sd-ext as well (that 512MB partition you just created)
then put the new card back to the phone, partition it by ROM manager, take it out, copy all the content from the old SD to the new SD, reboot into clockwork recovery, select advanced restore and restore the sd-ext you backed up before. When your phone boots up again, just enable the data2ext again, reboot and you'll be just where you were before you changed the SD...
ok... not so hard i think....
anyway to turn off data2ext and turn on?
or always turned on?

why i have to install all "must have apps" before i enable data2ext?

@irminsul, maybe this will help u, i do it the same why, and works perfectly.

a little howto from Dr.Romca:

OK, here's a howto:
-Install fresh B0.2 with wipe
-Install all patches
-Install the dta2ext_test2
-Configure your ROM, install must-have apps, configure them and when you have everything set, enable data2ext by typing to the terminal emulator app:
su /ENTER/
data2ext --enable /ENTER/
there, you're done

thx again, Dr.Romca :)

@stiffmast3r

This isn´t working for me, it says data2ext not found

I still don´t get the connection between the apps2sd script and the data2ext activation, aren´t they two different things?
