@BlaY0: Thanks for the hint!
I have installed it, flashed blayo's OC kernel (didn't wanna get out of bed to enable prefclock) and now it works just fine. Wifi works great...There is more free space then in the Vodafone based builds.
So far 2 minor issues:
-HTC music widget gone (will push it when I have time) edit: I installed it yet again - I think MyBackup Pro may be responsible as other HTC widgets have dissapeared after full restore...
-Whenever there is a weather animation directly involving the moon or the sun, there are two of them, one big from the widget and one smaller from the animation...
This happens on all roms I had so far though...

O great BlaY0, one question: if I install A2SD and gonna flash your next update, will A2SD disappear then?

Love your work btw, thanx for all that you do :)

What exactly is this perflock thing for?

I flashed this rom and enabled perflock as BlaY0 recommended because the phone was extremely laggy.
So far it seems to work really fine now, very smooth, quadrant about 850 first run...
But i have the feeling of a much bigger battery drain than i had before with the CM 6.1, is that possible?

It says your CPU how fast it should run...Install SetCPU or something like that so you know how fast and how your CPU runs (governor settings etc...)

Thanks.
I don't have SetCpu, but OsMonitor says Scaling Range 480-600, frequency range 19,2-600. Governor ondemand and when i look at current its always switching between 480 and 600. Dont know what would be normal...

Not sure about this kernel, I use BlaY0's OC kernel from the other thread, I have it set to 128800 -768000, and governor interactive...it is jumping all over the spectrum....

for everyone who is still undecided: with this rom and blay0s kernel my battery life improved about 100% (purely non scientific observation)
i was doing about 2 hours of web browsing, 45mins of calls, 10 texts, took a few pics and a bit of navigation and i only lost one bar on my battery icon. uptime about 10 hours now.
I'll keep an eye on it but it looks like battery life has greatly improved (even compared to the voda froyo). anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I know that the standby mA were around 86mA at 245mhz on the voda rom. i didn't have time to check the new one yet. but the improved battery life can't just be standby related so i don't know how much of a difference there will be anyway... i'll do some testing when i have time.

So which kernel do you use, just to be sure?
BlaY0's OC Kernel from the other thread or this one?

And what settings do you use? I now flashed the 768mhz kernel and use SetCpu with interactive setting...
Seems to work very nice and had about 1030 quadrant points, if i remember right.

yes i use BlaY0's OC Kernel from the other thread. the standard one caused freezes and i wasn't keen on experimenting with it since i had to get up early the next morning. i use the 787mhz one though. i never tried the 768. i hardly use overclocking anyway since most things i do on my phone don't need a lot of oomph (web, greader, mail, fb, ...) :) i only oc when i use sygic aura in the car cos it's a bit of a resource hog.

by the way, did anybody notice (maybe i'm imagining things) that videos run way smoother on this rom than on any other, even cm6.1? not iphone smooth but pretty damn close!

That depends, some of us get occasional freeze-ups, in that case you have to enable perfclock on your Legend, it has been mentioned here...Or you can flash BlyY0's custom kernel, that will only let your Legend go 768MHz o 787MHz (look in my signature)
