So is this recommended kernel?Or should I just leave my Legend with the 768 one if all goes smooth?

Not that is recommended but it is ment for this ROM. It can also be used with other stock based FroYo ROMs.
I applied some more patches to this one comparing to previous ones but the main difference is that it's got 768, 787 and 806 MHz steps available. However it defaults to 600 max so you'll nee SetCPU or something similar to OC it.

thanks BlaYo, i succeeded in installing, howeder I cannot get a2sd to work. As my Legend i getting full now with all apps, I am looking forward to a2ds included in your Rom.

Installed the kernel! Runs smooth, I even got to 787MHz without any FC's or resets Great work!

I think Interactive will be better for our batteries - it tunes down the CPU any time you don't use it. Where ondemand jumps around the spectrum at all times. This is just based on few minutes observation...I'll se if I can find some app that would log the CPU clock for a longer period of time...that would tell...

Htc legend, rom BlaY0 B0.1 and kernel_2.6.32.17-g30929af_custom.
Using setcpu conservative governor (from 122 to 768) and battery life seems to be improved.

Which kernel are you flashing? The old oc kernel from previous thread wont work for WIFI at all. Use the newest one from the first page. Its working fine for me...WIFI is broken 0 Network found
Why wouldn't it work?I flashed it before and WiFi worked just fine, I think there's more to it...
I dont really know why...
Full system wipe, even wipe out the whole SD card (removing app2sd and swap partition), followed by B01. Wifi was still working until I flashed old 768 kernel and restart. Wifi was grey out in the setting ever since. It was working again with the new kernel. Dont ask me why...
I had no WiFi problems no matter which kernel. But this new one seems to be the best
