wow, I'm using system overlay and using Titanium Backup I removed some stock apps and widgets I never used (all htc widgets, weather, twitter, news, mail, gmail, footprints, etc.) and my phone is faster than before, the lagging I had is completely gone

Problem with wifi connection

Hi!

Did anyone had same problem with wifi constantly dropping? I am trying to use it with connectify, but it just drops and connects after 10s or so. I tried with patch, and then again with original file. After some drops&reconnects it even fails to do the scan and I have to reboot. I am running blay0's 0.6 rom (clean install).

i choose resolution for legend 320x480 & rename bootanimation.zip

and then adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local

but after reboot, my bootanimation is gone. just black screen..
what wrong?

Wifi also drops connection for me after a while .. with or without patch doesn't seem to matter for me

Seems like Blay0 has got his life back on track so do you have any input on this problem? Bootanimation isn't that important but it might be a bug worth reporting.

Try pushing it to the it's home in /system. I can't remember where that is on the stock ROM. Also try a different animation, you may be missing something. Try one of Dr. Romca's for example

check again your connection, before patch my legend not good work connection,
after patching work perfectly without any error/lost conn

Guys, first check where your bootanimation is, that is in your cid_you_use.xml file in SYSTEM/customize/CID.

Secondly, the bootanimation.zip has to be set to "store only" when zipping.

and finally, not all file types (images) can be played as bootanimation on legend and that is even if they work on for example desire or so...I found that 8bit png's with defined palette don't work, so re-save those images with FastStone as 24/32 bit pngs. Jpegs work too.

It doesn't seem to make a difference. It still drops wifi after few seconds. CyanogenMod 7 wifi was stable. I'll try to reinstall 0.6.

I noticed those get locked after a reboot, so you have to enter a new password again for the credential store everytime you restart your phone
I've seen it on stock FroYo too, so it's not related to your ROM

Yes, we know. In my experience it only need's credential storage for TTLS connections, it never asks me for it if I use wpa2.. I don't know what is up with connectify and 0.6. It was working fine before (0.2), it is stable on other wifis tho. Nevertheless this is the best rom so far.

EDIT: It drops connection with clean install too. I don't know. Friends laptop is stable on my connectify ap. I will just have to live with that.

I never had this issue.. using wpa2-psk aes.
