How about just flashing the ROM via ROM manager without wiping? would that work as well with my contacts still there or would it be more advisable to do a backup etc?

You should always backup. Backup, then flash with no wipe. See what happens

Is there a way, that we can port the app from desireHD(its on ported desire also) that can share internet connection through usb? I am talking about reverse tethering!

Hi, I have some suggestions for the next update:
- power control widget in notifications
- flashlight widget from HTC
- Wifi ad-hoc connection support
- Recent Programs in Notifications just like HTC MyTouch has.
Otherwise verry good rom, I now have over 100 apps & games and performance is amazing , thank you for your efforts

As far as the battery is concerned, I haven't noticed considerable change of consumption of any kind, ... How is it possible that some devices last less than others, for their specific use obviously.
My batterie drained about 50% per day with my use, and it's always been the same, with every roms I tried,... What other parameter(s) can be involved for such differences between us?

I used cm7 and got 3 days of use.
Just installed this rom and got to 50% in six hours or so
