@BlaY0:

Any news of a DarkTremor version working on the new kernels?

I have only once succeded in adding it .. on the (un)official .. Every other version I tried ended up in bootloops ..
Hi whitetigerdk

I'm awaiting in anticipation for a WWE release from you based on 3.15 froyo and DarkTremor A2SD. All the best, can't wait.

Do you think that 2.2 Official version, like this one, is faster than a Cyano 6.1 ?
Anyone have made some test without OC ?
Thanks.

Not faster i'd say.
I used CM6.1, then tried this Rom and now back again with CM. Didn't make big tests, on 1-2 runs with quadrant it was almost the same score. ~850-870
Although i've the feeling that CM responds faster and (the reason for reinstalling) needs much less battery.

Download kernel to sd card...In Market download and instal ROM Manager..Run manager and in first line you will see flash clockworkmod recovery...do it. Than in rom manager go to line where is Install ROM from SD Card...tap on it and select kernel on your sd card...That's all.

OK, concerning DT a2sd. Is anyone willing to test this. Install latest DT a2sd via ClockworkMod recovery. Stay in recovery mode and pull off to your PC /system/bin/launcha2sd. Edit it and find line that says:
Code:
export a2sdfirstboot=`ps | $bbcmd grep -e android.process.acore -q;echo -e $?`;
...make it say:
Code:
export a2sdfirstboot=`[B]/system/bin/[/B]ps | $bbcmd grep -e android.process.acore -q;echo -e $?`;
...push it back and make it executable:
Code:
adb chmod 755 /system/bin/launcha2sd
...and report.

Even better would be to download the latest DT, edit /system/bin/launcha2sd directly in zip archive and flash that zip afterwards...

I'm on this shortly..

Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App

EDIT: Tested..

I installed this in this order:
BlaY0's ROM,
The Custom Kernel from Post 1
Installed the new version of overlay-script (no kernel)
Installed modified version of DT (from post above)

Installed and booted fine..

But entering Terminal Emulator and trying to move Dalvik Cache to SD -> Stuck at HTC bootscreen..

Will try this procedure again without moving Dalvik Cache.. :)

OK, as I recall DT (I'm not using it and never have been, got my own a2sd script for that) has its install script that is being run upon flashing the zip. So after reboot should the ROM already use sdcard as app store? Or do one need to run some command via terminal to actually move them there? After moving, GUI should be restarted for changes to take effect...

I will make some tests tomorrow if I find some time during work...

Hi, all.

I spend whole day to find out how to add Gingerbread look (UI Theme) to this ROM. I have some progress. Just prepared framework-res.apk with images from the gingerbread rom (res\drawable-mdpi\*existing*.png). The resulted .apk is zipalined, but it is not signed. I am not quite sure about if this is necessary...

Unfortunately i am tired to flash my phone again and again, so i want to ask if there's a volentier to test it with strong knowledge of recovery/nandroid. :)

Just PM me.

With Sansa @Winterfell
i'm using dt apps2sd but on cm6.1. i hope the ff helps though..

So after reboot should the ROM already use sdcard as app store?
yes, as long as an ext partition is already on sd. all apps, private or otherwise, are moved to sd-ext, except davlik-cache

Or do one need to run some command via terminal to actually move them there?
only to move davlik-cache

..thought you were on vacation, bro?:eek:
