plz help blayo
I have a problem on the wifi issue.
I can scan networks but when my phone obtaining IP, it disconnects and disconnects
I have flashed a new radio and try ur wifi test patch but nothing helps
Ur help would be appreciated!!!! thx!( btw: everything is fine, looks great but except the wifi:))

Do you think you gave me any usable info?

It's like I would say to you "I bought this new oven and whenever I put in a meatloaf and check back in 60' it isn't baked. The oven is great and stuff but it obviously doesn't like my meatloaf. Please, help me bake my meatloaf. Please!!!!!!!!!!"

I dont know wt's going on, really need someone for help:(

then i tried to flash to cm7 rom, doesn't work either
But if I restore my B0.7, the wifi is fine.... Which procedure I have done wrongly?
Required helps. How sad I m at the time being.:(

Hi all,
I've just updated to 0.8. everything goes well, except the Opera Mini 6. I guess the solution of the WWE Framework in the Patch 0.8.4, right?!
In the patch I found the folder system with the framework, however there is also this 'patch' folder, which includes some apps.
Here is my problem: I have removed, for ex., the stock.apk, and so when I tried to apply the patch, it didn't go through, saying 'cannot find stock.apk'. What roles do these apps play? Can I just grab some part of the patch (without the apps) and be done with it? Or do I really need to push the apks back in, and then remove them when the patching is done?

Here's what you will do. Boot to CWM, make a nandroid backup, format data partition and reboot. Then you will try to establish Wi-Fi connection on clean system...

Install 0.8, apply 0.8.4 patch. End of storry.

Should I push the apps back in to apply patch, because it didn't seem to be able to apply WITHOUT:
- HTCSetupWizard.apk
- NewsReader.apk
- Stock.apk

Why would I be angry? Just do what I said, you have nothing to loose. If it works, then you have some inconsistency in your settings. If it doesn't, you still have option to restore data partition from the backed up image you did.

Patch is to be applied as is. And to 0.8 only! No customization is allowed. After you have applied it, you can do whatever you want.

Well, I just tried applying the patch 0.8.4 again, still with no luck. It said:

Verifying current system....
assert failed: apply_patch_check ("/system/app/HTCSetupWizard.apk", "[a bunch of numbers in this part]")
E:Error in /sdcard/patch_b-0.8.4.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted

I tried re-download the patch, same thing.
So can anybody please help me? The 0.8 was installed clean with wipe.
