Yesterday I recived my Xperia C then I start cooking a ROM!
And Here is It, The first build of my ROM!
This is First time I am cooking a Xperia ROM for a XPERIA device,
Here We GO... :laugh:
Based on Official 16.0.B.2.13 Android 4.2.2
Deodex, zipalinged, tweaked
prerooted, busybox installed
int.d and third party script supported
Xperia z1 Home Launcher Moded to rotation support
Xperia z1 Walkman
Xperia z1 Album
Xperia z1 Movies
Xperia z1 keyboard
Xperia z1 themes
Xperia z1 Clock app
Xperia z1 Calculator
Xperia z1 Note app
Xperia z1 Sketch app
Xperia z1 task app
Xperia z1 messiging app
Xperia z1 stock fonts
CRT OFF animation Removed
Lockscreen Rotation Enabled
Enhached Sound and Picture Quality
Camera Takes Much Better Picture
two finger Statusbar down toggles
Proxy option Enabled in setings
location-Based Wifi Attached
All Rotation Enabled
Navigation bar set to 26 dip
Battery icon Themed
Xposed framework integrated to settings
Power Menu Options added with xposed
Enabled X-Reality Engine and Bravia Engine 2 in settings
And So many Things which i am not able to remmember now.
This is the Main thing to notice coz instructions are unique! Please Read Carefully
-----------ROOTING-----------------
1.Install Framaroot
2.root your devices with first script
----------Install CWM--------------
1.Go to this thread for instructions
---------Update to 16.0.B.2.13--------
To flash this rom You have to be on Leatest version which is 16.0.B.2.13
1.Update from Sony PC Companion or SONY Update Service (Safe And Recommanded)
or
Flash this .ftf file with wmshua perfect flash. (Unsafe, Not recommanded) Go to this thread for instructions
----------Install ROM------------
1.Download .rar file from post 2,
2.Extract the folder inside .rar file (better do this process on computer instead of mobile)
3.Now in move this folder to your sdcard/clockworkrecovery/backup/<here>
4.Boot into recovery (turn off your xperia properly, now press "power" + "volume down" untill u boot into revcery)
5.do a Nandroid backup(recommanded)
6.Go to Wipe Section and Wipe Your data + system
7.go to Backup and restore section and restore "Xperia-Z-ized_C2306_v0.94" backup which you downloaded.
8.Let it restore
9.Reboot and Enjoy
--------Why this much long instructons-------
I know You are curious to know that Why we have to do all this ****ing stuff when we can simply flash any zip from cwm,
let me Explain-
The recovery we are using is not maded for Xperia C as its have wrong symlink toolbox applets,
If we flash a cwm flashable zip, it would be successfully installed but rom will not boot as toolbox is not symlinked,
so what i did is mannually did symlink from toolbox to bin and xbin and make a backup
cwm backup hold all the symlinks value and keep them safe,
so here is why i did all this otherwise i also know how easy to flash a zip too
