Install Instructions

Download and rename to firmware.zip and place in your fastboot folder
Reboot phone and put it fastboot usb mode and open a command prompt from your fastboot folder
and type these cmd's

fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot reboot

Guide for using SVN​

Step 1: Install Tortoise SVN

• This is pretty straight-forward, simply download the correct installer for your PC (32 or 64).

Step 2: Create a folder to download the ROM

• Create a folder on your Windows PC, call it whatever you want, BadBoyz ROM, HTC ONE, whatever

Step 3: Add the SVN Checkout Link

• Right click on the folder you added in step 2 then choose SVN Checkout
• Add the following link to "URL of repository": http://badboyz-kit-kat.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/

Step 4: Ready to Download!

• Right click on the folder you added in step 2 then choose SVN Update
• The ROM structure will download

Step 5: Create the ROM!

• Simply double click the "Run_to_build_ROM.bat" to create the ROM
• Copy ROM from ROM folder to your phone & flash away!

Was finally going to bite the bullet and upgrade to Bad Boyz 4.3, but decided to wait a bit longer for KK to come out. I've been reading up on several threads and just want to make sure I don't mess anything up.

Current setup:
s-off
Viperom 1.1 (JB 4.1.2)
hboot 1.44
CWM v6.0.3.2 (which I believe is latest non-touch recovery. Just personal preference, but if I need to use TWRP, I can flash over)

1. I assume I have to flash an updated firmware first correct? Was thinking of flashing the firmware w/o hboot from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2576995

2. After flashing the fw, can I just flash this 4.4.2 rom or do I need to flash Bad Boyz JB 4.3 rom first?

I'm just not sure if I have to do an incremental upgrade or if I can just skip and install the latest with it screwing anything up.

If anyone can provide some guidance here, I'd appreciate it.

I used the latest TWRP 2.6.3.0 to flash . Don't need the new firmware, but you do need the latest radio if you have not done so already. It is a full ROM, so you don't need to install any particular ROM first.

yea I have the latest radio. Forgot to add that. I'm on 1.00.20.1108 baseband.

So I can stay with the 1.31.651.2? I do remember flashing that on Viperom.
