I only had 4K left in /system after clean installing BB8 and gapps inverted and I am getting no space left on device. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.

cifsmanager is failing to mount my shares as well. Is cifs working for others with this rom?

I have more or less solved my own problems. I reinstalled using the EOS gapps instead of the baked inverted ones to get more free space in /system. And it seems the ElementalX kernel doesn't support CIFS. When I reinstalled, I didn't install ElementalX and now cifs works.

I played with elemental for a while, but had some random reboots and slow degradation. Back to shield kernel and all is well in my world again. Just confirming for others that shield works well with bb8.

But, is USB disk working right? When I was with Shield Kernel and BB7 and it wasn't working, can you tell me, please?

If you are talking about connecting the xoom to the pc through USB and accessing the storage, no problems here.

Latest Netflix update seems to have fixed my issues with the HDMI output freezing up. I did a clear app data after updating and now all is well

Minor issue, but is there a way to move the navbar buttons over to the left or right? They're centered which makes it difficult to navigate when holding the tablet with two hands.

hi, how do i enable charging light? I can't find in setting. Also I can't find Developer Option to enable USB debugging? It's not in Setting. It connect to usb and swipe top left, i do see Developer option. But if unplug usb and go to setting, no devel option in setting.
When adding widget "Lock Clock" on the lockscreen, weather is not working. Only show "question mark". If i add location to weather lock screen, it said cannot retrieve location.

I had BB8 and GappsInverted-unified. Full wipe when flashing the ROM.

You should use the EOS gapps package, it's the only one allowing enough system space for the XOOM.

No toggle for charging light that I've been able to find and you have to activate developer setting. Go to about phone then tap on build number a few times and voila . Developer settings

@thatoneguy - you can choose tablet UI in settings in one of the menus inside the baked settings tab. Should be ui type or something.

@Cat - To enable the menu item for developer options in 4.2.2, go to the about tablet tab, then tap repeatedly on the build nunber, not the os version or kernel, but the baked beans build number. I think seven taps and it unhides that menu.

That's how it is straight up plain AOSP, this isn't a weird trick of Trav's or anything.

Any1 know how i can add a working weather on lockscreen? or just me?

I also have reboots on elemental, but only with my screen off. Actually seems to work quite well with screen on, but it's not a tenable situation by any means, and I need to switch.

Do you know if shield works with the BB8 Stingray build? I know the thread title indicates it's for WiFi only.

UPDATE: NM. Read the shield kernel thread, and saw that data's a no-go right now. That's okay for me though, as I don't have a VZW plan at the moment.

Also, what do you mean by "slow degradation"? Are you saying that the Xoom would slow down over time in terms of its responsiveness?

Slow degradation, yes. Over time a lag would develop that reboots and clearing caches, etc would not fix. Slower and slower she goes until... if your not worried about the lack of data, I suggest you try, I don't think you'll be disappointed. No issues on my end for some time now.

We press settings then Baked settings then Lock Clock Widget then Weather. We note weather it is displayed, to show always, to show location, to show time.(Everything works for me)
For updating of a widget there has to be an Internet
