never had such a speed on my defy before

Zeam is the right choice then, i tried all the other launchers but this is definitely the lighter one.

This rom is the perfect base for all the people who want customize the phone in the manner they want.

i have got a small bug!I cant change a ringtone for sms or call!
There is no one awailable.
No song or ring is in the menu!
How could that bee?

I agree, how could it be?

I've just changed ringtones for both, sms and calls. The list of available ringtones was pretty long.

Don't know whether a data wipe (from CwRecovery) may help or not in this case... but you can try

Please people respect the author and stop asking for added features (this is barebones rom) and you can install setvsel or whatever you want after flashing this.

Unfortunally i need call recording capabilities (i need proof when buying stuff or services from companies using phone, who doesnt?), and only chinese base (me525) have it. And any market call recording app will only work with a chinese rom.

I'm looking in the gallery issue - like I stated in an earlier post. The issue is with the camera app calling for the blur gallery specifically. I'm trying to find the line of code that deals with it so it just opens your default gallery.

If I'm not mistaken - if your flashing is dim/green it cant be fixed by software. The led bulb is damaged now and needs replacing.

Also can I get a screenshot of this sound recorder for phone calls you have. I grabbed the sound recorder from the china rom but its just an app; doesnt add anything. Do you access this option during a call from the dialer program ?

The dialer app in the China Froyo is slighty different, there's a button in the bottom-left which enable/disable the call recording at any time during the call.

Btw, probably the chinese call recorder app won't work in another froyo build.
If you install a call recorder app from market either in China froyo and non-China froyo you will see that works properly on China froyo only.
There must be some code in the Chinese firmware which unlock the 2 ways recording.

Ya only because I'm putting the default gallery back in; I cant get the blur camera app to call for quickpic instead of the media gallery.
I found the line of code where it call's the gallery but changing it to the android default doesnt work; and changing it to point to quickpic directly makes it crash.

However, I just dont know enough about disassembling/assembling apk's to solve this at the moment; maybe once I read more on the topic.

As for the call recorder, same sort of issue - I found the feature in the blur dialer apk from the chinese rom; but no luck trying to port it yet.

Well I donno; this rom is based off of CEE 3.4.2-155-002 Deblur not Finland anymore (might work, but it is a different version).

But if you were on CEE 3.4.2-155-002 Deblur - then yes just start at Step 5.

OK, I have done the complete procedure and all works good: the first impression is very very good! It seems very fast and...how I can say..."clean"

I made the attached zip update taking the deoxed file in the zip file I linked some posts before and it works fine for me.

I hope will be possible to integrate QuickPic (amazing fast!) with the camera, but for now I will use standard gallery for "camera shot preview" and QuickPic when I want to browse all the images.


Other things:

TASKS
I have tried to re-integrate standard tasks application too, using the deoxed Tasks.apk of the rom: the application works (you can see and set tasks), but the widget does not work (you insert it, but after the confirmation nothing appears on the home). But I bypass the problem installing Jorte (though in standard tasks app you can set a reminder and it has status bar notification...)

SWYPE
I have installed the Swype.apk included in the update.zip to /system/app instead /sdcard (I have modified the zip) and Swype keyboard crashs everytime it is called: is that apk specific for sdcard installation? (I have installed another apk from another rom and it works fine).

I have tested a lot of firmwares, and with each firmware i tried many call recorders, voice call recorders only worked well in chinese roms, and in other roms it would only record incoming voice, never outgoing voice. And what is annoying about the chinese roms, it can record both, but with annoying beep heard by the other peer of the conversation.

I read somewhere it could have something to do with the Radio Firmware,
