ive been on this rom forever and i want to upgrade it but i dont want to start from scratch and do a fresh install...any of the new bare roms able to be upgraded to just dirty flashing

Actually the stock one probably can. But as for the others.... No. I've moved things from /system to / data.
You can try it. Others have. Just make a backup first and if there's issues, then clean install or restore.

Do you have location set to device only? I had the same problem and changed that to improved location access and magically have pinpoint accuracy. Good luck cabbieBot.

I do not have it set to Device Only, I've had it set it to High Accuracy w/ Accelerated Location . . . but that seems like it might be worth a try. A friend of mine with the LS990 (stock, unrooted) has the same problem I do it seems, so we aren't crazy it turns out! I have found a workaround, though YMMV. I've been using this free app and it seems to iron out the issue: GPS Status & Toolbox. The way it seems to work is that you install it and forget it, and whenever an app uses GPS, it activates this app and gets a really quick and accurate GPS lock.

Sprint's 3G network is CDMA. You'd be asking for trouble flashing this, and would likely brick the device if you flashed the radios for whatever crazy reason.

hello from Nexus 6P land folks just dropping in to see if there's anything new to flash, I'm still on barebum_v2 so doesn't look like anything big is ready. At this point, my LS990 has taken so much abuse its difficult to seat the micro-USB port to take a charge, and the battery compartment plate doesn't even latch at the bottom. It's held together by bubblegum and duct-tape (and otterbox), and I basically rotate in externally charged batteries. It wants to retire to a non-demanding life of unrooted stock but I'm mean and won't let it. I was pleased to see the G3 is getting Marshmallow, as I'm still keeping this as my backup device.

In news shocking to no one, I attempted my AndroidPay workaround for the G3 on the N6P and it didn't work. It sucks.
