I am posting this here because I don't have access to the additional files post. I could post in the op BUT, it looks like it hasn't been edited that way in awhile, it only shows the original download link, not v2, etc and I don't want to mess it up. So without further ado, here is a flashable zip for the BarePop bootanimation. Engine can update the additional files post later(or wherever he feels like placing it). Simply flash this in TWRP and you're done. First boot afterwards will take a second, don't panic - it wipes the caches, hence the long boot. You will also see android upgrading and cycling through your apps after this for the same reason. But after first boot you will now have a new custom bootanimation. I suggest making a nandroid backup in TWRP before flashing just in case - but it installed flawlessly for me. Enjoy!

I fixed, or found out my issue with external sdcard. It is a selinux issue, even in permissive mode if files are not labeled it fuse won't work.
So I had 2 choice, selinux label sdcard or disable selinux. I googled didn't find info on relabeling in Android. So i compiled kernel to let me disable selinux.

this is the same as the first post of that thread, just a llitle more detailed. I used it yesterday and worked as expected :D and I'm not the first to confirm it working.

I'm in Argentina BTW.

Hope you can get yours working with this awesome rom!

Thanks engine95 and everyone in here with all the help for every little minor problem each one is having:D:D:D

BTW engine95, I know it's a Sprint forum but there are a lot of people in the "unlock sim for GSM how to" thread of this phone. I think you could add the link, just for those interested in GSM, this has been proven to work for some people now with the TE1

Network issue after restore

First of all, thank you for your awesome work. This rom is very ssmooth. However, coming. From stock KK and restoring back after testing LP my network is borked. It will detect network, show red x, then refresh icon... Repeat.

I tried flashing the zv4 radio zip and it is still the same.

I am using gsm. Please help. Thanks.

Edited Post #2 and #3. GSM info and BarePop bootani.

Just a little update:
I'm working on a kernel ATM. It's not cooperating fully, but it's getting there.
Selinux permissive
Schedulers - those are working
kexec patch - I can't test it til we get an updated MultiRom. So who knows....
Governors - not yet
Over/Underclock - haven't touched that yet.

If I can get the govs to work, then I'll release it.
It's nothing fancy, as I'm learning. But it'll give us something to play with.

Experiencing the same issue. Tried to restore to a zv6 backup in TWRP, and the only issue I had was no network reception. Getting the red x above the network signal icon. Tried updating the network mode and prl to no avail. Great work on ZV8, seriously. Very impressed and grateful! As far as getting back to zv6 for now, do I just need to wipe everything and do a fresh clean install, or do you have a solution in mind for getting the network to connect using my aforementioned backup? Take your time, and thank you.

I believe you will need to flash the rpm and tz partitions for zv4/zv6 that are in the third post of the stock rom thread. I'd probably wait for Engine to say if that's what it is or not. But I believe that's it.

I can see in the change logs that this rom has the increased mixer paths, but i wouldn't mind a bit more volume. Will flashing any of the mixer paths from the stock ZV8 thread work here? Great rom guys!

Will the kernel support faux sound?

It seems that I'm the latest in a few users to fully wipe everything including internal when flashing this and having issues. For me it was no system UI on first boot (status bar and navigation buttons). I didn't spend much time weighing alternatives, I just used LGFlashTool with the ZV4 .tot, rerooted, reflashed TWRP, then installed BarePop V2 after wiping all but internal and external. All is well now.

I can't say why this is happening but if you're thinking of wiping all the KK remnants from previous ROMs, just don't do it. I'm sure there's no harm in it being there, if "it" even exists. Although it was a good excuse to start over and update TWRP in the end, it probably isn't worth the trouble.
