[ROM] BarePop - ZV8

It seems that I'm the latest in a few users to fully wipe everything including internal when flashing this and having issues. For me it was no system UI on first boot (status bar and navigation buttons). I didn't spend much time weighing alternatives, I just used LGFlashTool with the ZV4 .tot, rerooted, reflashed TWRP, then installed BarePop V2 after wiping all but internal and external. All is well now.

I can't say why this is happening but if you're thinking of wiping all the KK remnants from previous ROMs, just don't do it. I'm sure there's no harm in it being there, if "it" even exists. Although it was a good excuse to start over and update TWRP in the end, it probably isn't worth the trouble.

Goes to show that not all ls990s are created equal. I had issues UNTIL I wiped internal(no micro SD currently). I didn't use flashtool though. I wiped everything in twrp then sideloaded barepopv2. No issues. Before that I had some of the same issues you had but only wiped dalvik, cache, system and data. These phones are weird.....

Maybe? That's the best I can tell you.
It's an all new learning curve for me.
The governors are my hold up right now. Then I'll move on. So who knows....

Kernal runs good..i noticed there is no voltage control yet through faux...i dont know what all the different govs do to be messing with them just yet

This outage freaked me out! I was trying an AOSP ROM for a day or so, was about to wipe it and return to BarePop, when my wife sent me a Hangout asking me to order Chinese food. Couldn't dial for the life of me, and couldn't call her back! I ended up restoring my nandroid as she was yelling at me, when she saw a friend's post on Facebook mentioning the Sprint outage. I knew it wasn't my fault! LOL

hi, it's been a week testing the ROM (TE1) and it's awesome, battery life is incredible, almost 5hs of screen (about 2 days of heavy use).

i've been having one strange problem, If i put my call on speaker, then i no longer hear anything but the other person hear me. I have to hang and call again.

Even though i reflash the ROM the problem persist.

Any ideas?

I'm on Straight Talk and have BarePop (v2) on my g3. I tried the unlock GSM via the method here http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/how-to-gsm-unlock-t2961099 but it didn't work. Any ideas to how I can get GSM working for this rom?

I really would like to keep the stock camera & have IR capabilities.

You can toggle voice enhancement setting during the call as well and sound will come back in speaker no need to hang up. Not sure why it happens though.

Did you restore to stock via flashtool & then upgrade? Also, are you on ZV4?

I've had the same issue. I've been able to get it back by toggling the mute and speaker buttons during the call.

Yup, no matter how much I try after multiple clean installs with and without the update, can't get mobile data. Modem is bad. Shame, rom is pretty fast.

Did you update PRL and Profile? That's necessary to get data working.
